I didn't get prompted for the patch either.

I think LambertandHam jumped the gun a little bit. The patch has only been released for Xbox.

There's no word on when it will spread to the beleaguered PS3 version.

Nice link. This happened with the first patch too I think. Released in the UK few hours before US. PSN has been on maintenance this morning too which might have something to do with the delay.

I'm going to do that real soon. I was waiting till I found a Daedric arrow so I could do the reverse pickpocket trick. Found a merchant today selling exactly one arrow, that's all I needed.

                      Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

My arrow count as of tonight (I'm still hoarding everything I find):

                      Ancient Nord Arrows - 124
                      Dwarven Arrows - 390
                      Elven Arrows - 147
                      Forsworn Arrows - 159
                      Iron Arrows - 727
                      Orcish Arrows - 430
                      Steel Arrows - 415

                      Total Arrows - 2,392

My archery skill level is at 66 with perks to do 80% more damage, and a 15% chance of a critical hit that does 25% more damage, plus the sneak perk that makes sneak attacks with bows three times the damage....plus the Gauntlets of the Old Gods (bows do 20% more damage) and the Elven Helmet of Major Archery (bows do 25% more damage) equipped.

                      It's pretty damn fun.

                        I'll play!

                        Ancient Nord Arrows - 272
                        Daedric Arrows - 1
                        Dwarven Arrows - 132
                        Ebony Arrows - 12
                        Elven Arrows - 123
                        Glass Arrows - 32
                        Iron Arrows - 576
                        Orcish Arrows - 252
                        Steel Arrows - 802

                        Total - 2202

Long ago I stopped collecting any arrows that are less damage then steel since I pickpocket every single guard I see and take their steel arrows I figured I would never run out of those.

At level 41 my archery is at 70. Overdraw at 4 so +80% damage, I've got Eagle Eye (zoom), Power Shot (staggers the mob), Quick Shot (faster draw) and one in Steady Hand (slows time). Also have the sneak damage bonus and I'm wearing a mask that adds 20% to archery. My next plan is to invest in the critical hit perk.

I thought about doing that, but I downloaded a mod that lets me craft arrows instead.

As for arrow count, I lose.

200 Dragonbone arrows in my inventory.

Yeah I was surprised that they never included any arrow smithing or dragon weapon smithing.

At the least had a perk under archery to make arrows.

                                Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

So I am finishing some College radient quests tonight. I am the Arch Mage and it feels goooood.

I finished up the Wolf Queen. I rally enjoyed that quest line.

Jazarki is now my companion from the College. BTW having the Arch Mage quarters is bad ***. So who needs the home in Solitude when you have that wing of the college? But...I guess if you have gold to burn I can understand.

Tonight I will get in a good 4-5 hour session. I hope the patch for PS3 drops. The freezing issue is a bummer as it has happened to me 10 times now. Fortunatly I save often.

This game has taken over my video gaming life. I do mange to play one game of 2K11 or Madden......but this is just getting crazy.

Like for example. When i am adventuring and I travel a great distance....and it's getting late at night and snowing....I will stop at the first Inn I can find....and hang out and talk to locals and poof I pick up more Misc quests. It's like living an alternative life!

Truly an extrodinary game. And I have still yet to visit Riften (next destination on the main quest line) or go to the far east and south. So much left to discover, explore and conquer.

And this is my first playthrough!

The key to this game IMO is to play it at a good measured pace, level up naturally and take it all in. I am going to finish all the guild quests before I finish the main quest line.
