Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I'm still playing. I just don't get to post in here as much as I'd like. Had my level 20 battlemage. Didn't really like him after a while, so switched to a Wood Elf archer.
He is level 27 now. One "main quest" left in the Thieves Guild (but I'm going to hold off on doing it for a while, for reasons you'd understand once you get there). Probably going to start the Dark Brotherhood next. I haven't even visited the Greybeards yet.
I have a 4 day weekend for Christmas, and a four day weekend for New Years. I plan on getting an embarrassing amount of time in.Michigan WolverinesChicago White SoxComment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
ugh
SpoilerI was in the bosses battle in Forbidden Legend and one of the bosses used the disarm **** while I had my dwelmer war hammer. At first I was like whatever man I'll use the nightingale blade and fire, but after each boss I'd spend the whole gap looking for it. 10 minutes after I completed the quest, I STILL can't find it!

So in just randomly doing quests, starting from when you initially break out the prision, I've ended up getting 40 friggin active quests, and I haven't travelled north past Windhelm, nor have I travelled west past where The Dark Brotherhood starts. LOL. Killed 6 Dragons so far at level 18....though one time I got my *** handed to me because a SECOND dragon landed when I was fighting the first....sigh.HELLO BROOKYLN.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I've only found 7 shout walls though so I have 3 dragon souls in the bank.
I'm starting my quest now to find at least 2 walls before I continue on the main quest again.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Just wait until you pop into a town like Dawnstar and have two generic dragons randomly attack you. The random spawning/attack logic for Dragons is weird.Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
One thing I hate as a stealth character is when I read as "detected" just because my companion or a friendly animal can see me. Totally throws me off. Usually I don't play with a companion, but sometimes they're forced on you and it's a pain.
Oh and also when you can't trade with companions to upgrade their gear because they're foisted on you as part of a quest. Grrrrrr! They're absolutely useless in these situations and I'd rather be alone.Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Some of you guys have it easy on the random dragon battles. I'm at level 33 and have killed at least 25 of them. I have 11 dragon souls waiting to be used, need to find some more word walls.Member of The OS Baseball Rocket Scientists AssociationComment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Level 39 I think. I must have run through 20+ dragons. At this level those sons of bitches are scary.
Havent played in a while due to finals and general boredom of the game (picked up other hobbies).
Level 1-10 Dragons are scary.
10-25 LOL easy dragon souls
35+ run like hell or you better have plenty of potions.Last edited by kingkilla56; 12-19-2011, 09:42 PM.Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I'm around the same level as you but haven't killed as many dragons. I've probably taken out between 15 and 20 maybe. Could have been more because there have been a number of times when I've fast traveled somewhere, and upon loading my destination, I could hear/see a dragon nearby, but didn't try to fight it. Sometimes they'll fly in the air kind of above me, but then it flies off somewhere else and doesn't come back. If one picks a fight with me, I'll fight it, but I don't always seek a battle with one.MLB: Cincinnati Reds
