I will say that I'm playing as a hunter, and didn't plan on going back and playing as a Vampire, so that could be true.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

So, whats the best way to manage being a straight up mage? I just restarted and created my mage "Raistlin Majere", but its seeming like I'm not going to really be immersed like I want to be.

When I think mage, I automatically think group, which of course is not the case in Skyrim. I dig fantasy, anime, etc, etc and all of the mages I've read about or observed always play the rear as they're very powerful yet extremely vulnerable. How do you suggest managing this in Skyrim where you're pretty much solo all the time.

It kind of breaks the illusion of being a badass mage when I have to run from enemies to set up spells ya know. I have powers emanating from both hands and I can't block attacks!!! I guess have a shield in one hand? What mage does that lol?

Thanks, if you don't mind me asking is this for the console? Don't remember hearing it before.

You could always go conjuration and grab a melee follower, then you'd have the group dynamic you're talking about. You could conjure up some dremora's and let them take the front line while you switch to destruction and beat face with fire and lightning spells. If you're on PC there's a mod that lets you have up to 15 followers if you so choose. As a matter of fact, if you're on the PC that's definitely the way you should go as there are mods that increase the difficulty and make playing a mage that way pretty necessary.

Kill shot with the crossbow just feels awesome. I like how they zoom in on your character lining up for the shot, then you see the bolt slowly fire through the air into your target and the target collapses in slow motion.

It was supposed to only be a 30 day hold, so anywhere from July 26th on, I believe.

Why do you think it'll come out on PS3 before PC?

To be honest, both PS3 and PC might get delayed due to how damn buggy Dawn Guard is for the 360. Don't get me wrong, it is fun and adds a hell of a lot of new stuff to the game, but it is also very buggy.

                              Some bugs I came across:

Being attack by invisible devil dogs and wolves.

Having my companion go crazy and start attacking me for no reason.

Having my own organization attacking me for no reason and wave after wave after of them just respawn right in front of me.

People who use to suppose to give stuff to or speak to end a quest won't happen because the option to speak to is grayed out and won't allow you to click on it.

Usually just reloading a save file clears it up though.

Just finished Dawnguard, great DLC, I hope going forward that all potential followers in all Elder Scroll games or DLC are at a minimum as well written as Serana. NPC companions that don't just fight or act as pack mules, but actually notice and comment on what going on during the quests, add so much to what is usually too solitary an experience in an open world game.

It was only a little buggy for me, I only had to reload twice to get things back on track.
