    Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

The greatness of Skyrim proved itself to me once again....

During a frantic fight I lost my beloved skyforge sword. After I killed powerful mage I had to search almost the entire cave for my sword. It took me about a half hour to find it.

Only in skyrim would I get so attached to my sword that I refused to leave it behind.

I did that, too. Elven Sword of Scorching. Drauger Deathlord or whatever shouted it out of my hands, so I spent a good long while trying to find it again. Luckily it glows.

Could've left it, though. The Deathlord dude had an Ebony Sword on him. Much better. And I have Chillrend now, as well as a glass war axe.

I hate this game. I get some new other game (KoA: Reckoning and Fallout 3 are the most recent examples), I play it for a couple of nights, I LOVE it, then I think "I'll just throw Skyrim in for a couple hours and I'll go back to the other one tomorrow." A week later, I haven't touched the other games and I'm thinking about how to get my smithing up higher so I can get Flawless (and later Epic and Legendary) glass weaponry.

      Ugh.

Funny. I bought Arkham City in November and still haven't touched it because of Skyrim. I had no idea it was going to take me this long.

The default level. Its fairly easy and until you find that easy, move on up. Just know that Master difficulty is no joke.

just saw it on Live, did not check if it was actually downloadable because I have it on the PS3 but it was there when I downloaded the Mass Effect DLC.

I just purchased it. 1600 MP...it's downloading now.

Going to run out, trade in some games and pick up Spec Ops, but that and this will get rotated once I get back.

Coolness, let me know what you think of Spec OPs I am on the fence about it.

Man, time flies, it's been 6 months since I've last played Skyrim I didn't forgot how good the game was, but I had forgotten how good it looks. I've played about an hour. The introduction of

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Havent played this in a while... downloaded Dawnguard and started a new character as a Wood Elf named Beyos. I plan on sticking with this character.

                            *** **** PS3...

I have 10 Dragon Bones sitting in a safe at Proudspire and I'm working like hell at getting my Smithing up to 100 (Just hit 80. Woo Ebony!), but nooooo, I can't have Dragonbone weapons for another 30 days.

I was hoping they'd at least patch in the weapons and horseback combat today on PS3 and just lock out the Dawnguard stuff until they can give it to us. Guess I'll have to keep waiting.

Wait, PS3 doesn't even have mounted combat yet? I thought that was separate from the DLC and everyone got it.

I don't have it yet. I haven't been prompted for a patch in forever.

Me thinks it's because the bulk of patch 1.6 was Kinect related, so they figured they'd just put it off until Dawnguard.

                                Though that's just me speculating.
