Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I'm going to be a stupidface and assume this means us PS3 peasants are getting Dawnguard sooner rather than later.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Still think it will be later rather than sooner. From the forums and everything I have read Bethesda still don.t know how to program for the PS3. Just my opinion of course. In Loving memory of my "Cricket" 1/2/96 - 11/19/2012

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Update went live this morning it seems (on 360 at least, I just had to download it).
I started another new character (my fourth) - going to be the first heavy armor one I've tried, though. Doing the Companions' quest, another one I've never done, right now. Then it'll probably be Dawnguard (I'm tempted to stay a Werewolf until that one so I can have some Vampire Vs Werewolf fights).
Really torn on the werewolf thing at the moment. It's tempting because it'll change-up my playthrough a bit.Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
It is up for the PS3 as well but it is only 1.6 so apparently it is not 1.7 and that means Dawnguard is even farther away than we thought on the PS3.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Bethesda flat out said we're getting 1.7, so I would imagine it's just called 1.6 because we're getting both patches in one download.
EDIT: Also, this from the GameFAQs thread about it. They're dumb over there a lot of the time, but I can't imagine they're lying.
I see it now in the pause screen. 1.7.13.0.6Last edited by Bellsprout; 08-09-2012, 03:28 PM.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I'm in the same boat as Beantown. Started a new game 2 nights ago, a gigantic Orc that runs around in full heavy armor wielding a two-handed blade. I call him Bulldozer. Already 10 hours in and up to a level 15.
And already have my smithing at 60. I needed awesome weapons and armor, dammit!Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn
