This is why I love having both systems. Gonna jump into this a little more today. I decided to join the Dawnguard this time. Will probably make a vampire character on my next play through.

Think I've got this smithing thing wired.

Walk into a town, buy all the ingots a blacksmith has, create a bunch of stuff, improve the stuff to Legendary before selling, break even (at least) after selling all the **** back to them, go to a different blacksmith and repeat.

It's like free leveling. Just unlocked Daedric smithing. I am happy.

You don't even need to go to a different smith. Save your game, kill the smith, and reload, and their inventory should reset.

I never liked using simple cheats in this game or other Elder Scrolls games for that matter. Kills the immersion when you become to powerful early on in the game.

I agree. That one I just use for convenience. I hated running to every hold to sell my stuff. I never used it to grind my smithing, just to clear my inventory.

That's just working around the mercantile perks and breaking the economic balance of the game by cheating a gold refresh.

Yeah, same here. People complained so much about the level scaling(which was used to as an attempt to keep the game challenging) in Oblivion, that they went to far the other way in Skyrim, I can see it as a player who doesn't craft weapons and armor, so I know that those who craft, don't have any challenge in combat after the first 15-20% of the game. To each his own though.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Traveling through the forests heading towards Windhelm when I come across an Ice Mage engaged in a battle with a Fire Mage at night. Talk about a lights show. This game is amazing!

Yeah I started a new character last night, this time a female nord. Going to go much slower this time, find all the cities and stuff, then become a Vampire Lord and play through the game as one.

I am amazed how much stuff they were able to get in that DLC, considering that file is only 580mb. Makes you truly wonder why sports games can't do the same damn thing.

It's still plenty challenging at times. A room full of Draugr with a few Deathlords sprinkled in isn't a cakewalk. Especially if you're like me and you're running around in mage robes instead of actual armor.

In other news, finally got my smithing to 100. Now we wait for Dawnguard so I can make Dragonbone weapons. In the mean time, holy **** are these Daedric weapons pretty. And effective. My sword does 80 freaking damage. 83 for my war axe. That's... nuts.

Are drabonbone weps gonna be better than Deadric? The armor isn't? Or is this just a you want to have it thing. I might make some to sell, but myself and my bitch are fully loaded up with deadric. If they would let me fletch some deadric arrows I would be a happy camper.

According to the Elder Scrolls wiki:
Dragonbone Weapons are a set of weapons that appear in The Elder Scrolls V: Dawnguard. They are the strongest set available, surpassing even Daedric weaponry.

Well in that case, this thing needs to quickly get to my PS3. Helps that I am sitting out NCAA '13 so it can get worked into the rotation again.

Holy crap they even added new jewelry you can make along with the new few different types of armor and weapons you can make as well. Now I am even more glad I started Dawn Guard with an all new game. Well worth the play through with all the new things you can make and sale.

I just got out of a gold mine, mined 39 gold ore, so I'm thinking make some jewelry, then all these new weird names popped up on the list, I was like wow......

Having a PS3 is so brutal right now. No signs of patch 1.6 or the DLC, now that's not too bad because the PC suffers with us but at least they get mods. We're stuck with a really laggy experience and no support from Bethesda right now, we're kind of the red-headed step-child to them at this point.
