If I'm not mistaken that vampire was flying (levitating at least at 0:26 & 0:33). Never done a vampire play through but do they do that in vanilla? It looks like something that was teased in the game jam video, I'll have to go back and watch it again. Crossbows? **** yeah. Did anyone else catch that mount at 1:04? I noticed a couple of new kill animations as well, one on a new giant/troll looking creature.

In any case, I can not wait for that DLC. Definitely buying as soon as it hits Steam. It's gonna be really hard avoiding spoilers for a month so 360 guys help us out and post with [spoiler][ /spoiler] tags when you're going through it please.
      PS: You guys are great.

Nope, vampires couldn't fly in Vanilla. They also didn't have that bat looking form they have now. They also couldn't feed unless their victim was sleeping, but now you can feed on people even when they are looking at you!

Can't wait for this DLC! Day 1 baby!

Bethesda is planning to select people on the Xbox 360 to "Beta test" the new DLC. I signed up, hopefully I'll get picked.

                  Dawnguard details from Game Informer:
                  • "Story of Dawnguard involves the return of a vampire lord named Harkon, who seeks to put a stop to his greatest enemy: The sun."
                  • You choose sides: fight alongside the Dawnguard (vamp hunters) or join Harkon, "alot of unique content depending on which side you choose".
                  • Two new homes, one for each side of the conflict.
                  • If you choose to side with Harkon you can become a 'Vampire Lord', grants you new powers, players can exit form at will.
                  • Vampire lords & werewolves now have their own perk tree.
                  • Legendary dragons are new high level beasts, gargoyles, death hounds and armored trolls.
                  • Some quests will take you into the Oblivion realm, specifically 'The Soul Cairn' the realm of trapped souls.
                  • You can change your face/gender in Riften's Ratway.
                  • New shouts like 'Soul Tear', where you steal the soul of a dead enemy and use it as a minion.

I have completed the main quest with my lvl 42 Nord and am now embarking on the companions quest. I am wondering if I become a werewolf and join the Dawnguard, if that will help in defeating the vampire lord.

Yeah being a vampire sounds so much cooler than fighting them.

Looks like becoming a vampire has changed since in Oblivion. I remember the chore it was to get cured then.

That dude is the epitome of what I expected one of the dude's who develops these games to seem.

Also - 10 to 20 hours depending on your pace for the main quest? No way it can be that long - that's longer than just about every single FPS out there.

                              Dragonbone weapons = awesome.
