I take any armor or robes that I can carry and sell them (only the nice ones I can make money with obviously). Easy extra money, especially if you spend a little to grab whatever it takes to upgrade them before you sell them.

Robes can be sold for 100 gold a piece to the mages at the college or the wizard guy in Dragon Reach.

Staffs can be sold for 300 to 950 a piece.

Flawless gems can be sold be sold for 500 a piece. However attach it to a necklace and you can get 1200 to 2000 easily.

Some scrap metal can be melted down and turned into dwarven ingots.

Books can be sold for 1 to 30 gold a piece. A lot of book lovers in Skyrim.

Food can sold as well. And I mean actual food, not ingredients. Get more money for food you cook then just raw ingredients.

Potions can be sold for 5 to 300 gold a piece, depends on how good you at making them.

Armor fetch a pretty damn good amount of gold, especially if you UPGRADE it to legendary status before you sale it or enchant it. Get more money for it then just regular armor.

Fancy looking cups and bowls can fetch 5 to 25 gold a piece.

I don't care for weapons, unless it is ebony or glass. Those fetch a lot of gold. Steel,, iron, elven, orchish, etc is too damn common and not worth my time.

Oh yeah, I steal every wine and mead bottle I come across and sale it to the inn keepers. One time I had 105 bottles of wine at one time and sold it. But of course the Briar wine fetch the highest price then the alto wine.

All i really steal is weapons and potions. I dont use potions so I get a lot of money just making, stealing, and selling potions.

Is there any way to increase the distance between the camera and your character in third person mode on Xbox 360?

The camera when I'm not in combat form is just right back up on his back, and then travelling in first person mode looks cooler.

Also, does anybody always climb up the 7000 steps to High Hrothgar? I wanna do that but it seems like a pain. And one of the people in Ivarstead said the only thing I really needed to worry about were stray wolf packs.

First few seconds on the steps, frostbite spider. One minute later, Snowy Sabre Cat. The next thing I face is a Frost Troll, not a single wolf.

My second character, a nord has, full Dwarven armour which is upgraded as much as my smithing level lets me. Looks pretty damn cool but is heavy as hell. Good thing my pack Muel Lydia is with me.

I also seem to mysteriously replace all my horses. That doesn't help with the fact since I'm a low level, making Dwarven armour and not selling my old armour (I gave it to Lydia) has left me completely bankrupt. I'm tempted to start fast travelling now.

Keep in mind, if you are too heavy, you can't fast travel. Personally I don't ever give my follower heavy armor. It defeats the purpose of having them as a pack mule.

Since their max carrying is the same as you. So don't ever give them Dwarven armor or anything heavy. Give them light armor and bow and arrow.

Basically they should be the opposite of you. 2 heavies = you can't carry a lot of loot. One of you have to be light.

And if you think those 7,000 steps is a lot, wait to you make it to this old Dwarven city......Steps galore, with nothing but the sound of loud waterfalls all around you. Make talking to the city folk kind of hard.

Just so you know I'm a veteran of Oblivion, so I know a lot about all this. The old Dwarven city is a hard place to navigate, so I never go there. It's like the Skyrim version of Vivec from Morrowind, just a pain in the *** place to go. I hate it a lot.

You have to click down on the right-stick and you can zoom in and out with the left-stick. I had the same issue. Drove me nuts.

Are all companions generally the same?

No there's a guide out their someone about the companions. J'Zargo from the mages college is best from what I remembered.

Is there any quicker way to get from 80-100 for certain skills like destruction or conjuration? Up to level 80 I could just train then pickpocket the gold back but now that I'm at a higher level they want like 4k gold for one training session it says I have 0% chance of pickpocketing that much gold back off them. I have some decent coin (about 20k) but that won't last long at 4k per training session....

For conjuration kill a wolf or something and keep casting soul trap on its corpse. Just make sure you dont have empty soul gems in your inventory first.

I haven't done either, since I don't wear armor outside of Wrist Gauntlets.

I think I have Novice Robes of Destruction on right now.
