    Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Yeah buddy pick axe is a must have. So much iron ore outside of caves it isn't funny.

Anybody just sit in front of the fire in their house and just chill ? LOL I did that last night. Just sat there in the chair in front of the fire and looked at in first person mode. Then I just looked around the room admiring my stuff on the walls.

I like the follower you get in River Wood, he is funny. You come across a cave and he says oh look a cave, should we go in ? Then you go in and be dark, he says ooooooo I don't like the looks of this.

Also one time I left a inn, he says umm that was a bad idea, you could have made a lot of coin in there, we should go back.

Sure enough I made a killing in there. Dude has a nose for business opportunities.

I loot every single body and open every single chest, urn, and cabinet so that I can load up on gold.

So he wouldn't be much help to me.

This "SHIZZNICK" is the "SHIZZZZ" I go back to my "Hood" that I call Riverwood and crash at the Inn only to wake up with my head spinning as if I just had a night out on the town and this

This game has more twist/turns than a B/W old Perry Mason mystery.

I have never experienced anything gameswise like this in my entire life of gaming and that is a long time

I'm not really into games like this but I'm looking for games that take time to complete. Do you guys think this or Dark Souls is better for a "ROOKIE" I just bought 2 Worlds 2 and think that it is pretty good, should I look into this game?

Depends. This is a "go anywhere, do anything" kind of game. It's like a fantasy version of Grand Theft Auto almost. Dark Souls is a game that tests your patience. A how long are you willing to have your *** kicked before you kill this boss kind of game. Pick the one you want more at this time.

Dark Souls has one hell of a learning curve. Skyrim is more like Two Worlds.

It looked interesting enough, couldn't get into it. Have you played Oblivion or Fallout 3/NV?

Aside from passing references to the former in Skyrim, not really.

I've never played Oblivion and I have no trouble following the story in Skyrim.

I think the events of Oblivion are only mentioned in passing, there's not like a major continuing story arc.

Hell, I plan to buy and play Oblivion just the second I finish with Skyrim.

Yeah there's no need to play Oblivion, though it was in my imo, a very good game. There isn't much of a story connection between Oblivion and Skyrim and there are books in Skyrim that document some things from Oblivion.

I played the drinking game with this dude in White Run......woke up in a city far from White Run in a temple with a pissed off priest lady. Needless to say that lead me to 5 weird quests.

I hated that city too, everybody there was stuck up and over all it had too many damn stairs.
