    Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

I can confirm that the DLC on the legendary edition is indeed on the disc.

Whenever you pop in the disc, below the disc with "skyrim" which you would choose to go into the game...is another disc, which enables you to install the 3 DLC's packs.

Like a lot of sports game started doing with their manuals.

Oh nice, Falskaar is finally finished. I have to check that out, I remember it being really ambitious and wondering if he would ever really finish it.

Now I just have to work myself up to reinstall Skyrim and all the mods again.

Already had one CE guide but for 1/2 half off at Gamestop plus 10% off I had to have it. Paid around $22 and some change for a $50 Hardcover guide

              Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Playing Skyrim full steam recently after a month hiatus.

Really enjoying the Thieves Guild storyline at the moment.

This game is definitely one of my alltime best gaming experiences.

After finishing the Thieves Guild I'll be going onto the Dark Brotherhood, Civil War and then all the DLC.

Not sure if I should do Dark Brotherhood before or after doing the Civil War storyline...any suggestions.

              I've completed the following:
              Main questline
              Companions
              College of Winterhold
              3 Daedric Quests

              Busy with:
              Thieves Guild

              Still need to do:
              Dark Brotherhood
              Civil War
              Dawnguard (DLC)
              Dragonborn (DLC)
              Rest of Daedric Quests

Doing the DB quests next is fine, doesn't really interfere with anything. Starts out a little slow but I found it to be pretty exciting quest line overall.

Dark Brotherhood is my favorite of any of the questlines.

                  Even the main one.

I felt real loyalty to that group when I was going through it. I don't know why. It's "do anything for coin" mentality fit well with the ideals of my play style.

For those on PC, check out the Falskaar mod. The new area adds 30+ hours of gameplay, 20 new quests, and more. Highly recommend!

Yea, definitely felt like one of them. The rest of the factions were "meh" to me, especially the Companions.

Hmm, I actually felt the reverse. I liked most of the Thieves Guild, and maybe one or two of the Dark Brotherhood. Although one of my favorite bits in the game was

Smith iron daggers to 100, simple as that. Just keep buying iron ingots and leather from blacksmiths around the world, then smith as many as you can hold. Better yet, after you've smithed the daggers, take them up to an enchanting table and enchant them all to level your enchanting as well. Once you're done enchanting the daggers, sell them for good coin, then buy all of the iron ingots and leather you can find again.

                              Rinse and repeat to 100.

Assuming you have the latest patches, its gonna be a long haul to get it up. But here is the guide of how I did it. Its still a long trek though.

So general rule is, the more expensive the thing you are smithing is, the more experience you get for it. By this we need to find an expensive item that is easy to scavenge for and spam the hell out of it.

I advise to find the Transmute spell. This turns your iron ore to silver ore and silver ore to gold ore. With these gold ingots you spam smithing Gold rings. If you have jewels, you can spam the more complicated gold items but gold rings are easiest and give you a little bit of gold in return to keep the machine going.

You find the transmute spell at the halted steam camp just on the outskirts of Whiterun. There are a bunch of bandits on the outside doing random stuff. Im not 100% as its been a while but I think its on the slight northwest side of Whiterun.

So as you spam transmute, your alteration will increase a whole lot. I advise not wasting skill points in uping that tree unless thats your thing. But imo alteration is the lamest skill tree.

Oh and it would be good for you to use this gold ring spamming to up your enchanting. Smithing and enchanting leveling go hand in hand. Plus your enchanted rings will score you crazy amounts of gold once you learn which enchants are the most profitable.

                                Good luck man.

Edit: oh I forgot, you will need to mine for iron, or silver ore to get the transmute going. Iron ore is the easiest to mine for as those veins are everywhere.

And you can do the daggers spamming as it is even easier than gold ring spamming. But Post patch, daggers give you extremely little experience as the devs realized everyone was abusing that spam when the game was still young. So if you never patched your game, THAT would be the easiest way to do it.
