Yeah I'd say it's okay. The game doesn't end when you finish the main quest, so you can do whatever you want, whenever you want. Everything will still be there after the last main quest. But if you want to wait a while before finishing the main quest and go explore a little, go for it. Neither route hurts you, it's up to you.

Is it OK that I just got the quest from Paarhanax (sp) to get the elder scroll already at level 13? I have been enjoying the MQ (even as most haven't) and have always been too a.d.d to concentrate on side quests. But now I'm feeling maybe I'm going to fast, and should maybe dabble in some worldly things/quests/stray from the beaten path for a little. I know its entirely up to me, and the game is meant to be played how said player wants to play. I'm just worried I'll get too far ahead.

I tend to work in "zones". Finish most of the basic Whiterun quests, move on to Riften, Falkreath, etc.

You can really play the game in any order. The only major difference if you power through the main quest without doing side quests is

instead of picking Stormcloaks or Legion, you have a "peace summit" between the two. You can still choose a side after, but the summit is one of the glitchiest bits of the game.

I tend to accept quests whenever I come across them simply because I'm afraid I might not cross path's with the person again to start the quest.

I'm actually trying to do every side quest right now. Sounds like I shouldn't be taking that approach?

I'll be glad when I finally get some time for this game. I should be able to catch a pretty good deal on it, now. I'm a little hesitant, but I've been debating on buying a good PC to play Battlefield 3 and Diablo 3.. and it would make more sense to get Skyrim for PC.

I had to buy a PS3 today so I could get reimbursed for my broken one. Decided to pick up a used copy Skyrim and man I missed this game. I traded my other copy in in like February because I was overwhelmed with all the quests. Going to try and keep it more simple this time.

I'm very excited to be getting a pc that can play this. Gonna downlao a ton of mods (and for Fallouts) I've had them on console always been envious of pc. I'm pumped

I've been having fun on my Nord archer, but have noticed an issue. I have 4/5 skill points into giving bows more damage. When unequipped, the bow itself seems to stay the same damage wise(glass bow at 33 or so). I equip it with glass arrows, and the bow turns into a 83 damage bow, with bow + arrows doing 99 damage.

Was there ever a fix for the most recent patch on PS3? Something about the game freezing whenever your character hit water?

Delete your game data, not your save data, and reinstall. That fixes it.

Does anyone know where I can find more Deadric Arrows? I stumbled on to a few and would love to get some more.
