Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Yeah, same here. People complained so much about the level scaling(which was used to as an attempt to keep the game challenging) in Oblivion, that they went to far the other way in Skyrim, I can see it as a player who doesn't craft weapons and armor, so I know that those who craft, don't have any challenge in combat after the first 15-20% of the game. To each his own though.
I craft sometimes but for the most part, you'll find the very same armors and weapons while questing. One of the best feelings in this game IMO is when you're completely overmatched by a stronger opponent. It forces you to use that inventory and/or magic some would otherwise neglect.
I got a buddy who has the game to and he's around lvl 30 and has never even used his Shouts, lol. I'm like WTF? He doesn't know what he's missing.http://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group)Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
For those of you who have Dawnguard. If I go through Dawnguard and become a vampire, can I play the rest of the game with the vampire powers?Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Even though the open world, do anything, go anywhere, aspect of the game is what draws a lot of people to Elder Scrolls games, I personally really love the set pieces. I'm big on character development, which is normally the weakest part of an ES games, but the set pieces really have some nice character beats, thus I'm really liking Dawnguard.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Just have a question about the DLC. I just started with a new character a couple days ago and I wanted to know if I need to restart over in order for the DLC to be a part of my new start or does the DLC kick in after the Main game is over? Thanks in advance

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Are drabonbone weps gonna be better than Deadric? The armor isn't? Or is this just a you want to have it thing. I might make some to sell, but myself and my bitch are fully loaded up with deadric. If they would let me fletch some deadric arrows I would be a happy camper.PSN ID: Lordcledus

The only downside is that Serana isn't a marriage eligible character. She's an awesome follower.Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Is it better to play Dawnguard with a previously saved game about 40 hours in or is it better to start a new game and jump in.
Just didn't know if it's harder when using a low level character.GT: Herkyalert

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Uhh...who's saying that? I finished the main quest line of Dawnguard last night and I'd say it's worth the money, easily. I won't spoil it for you but when you're about 75% through the main story line some very very very cool stuff gets to be seen. It's a very rewarding experience imo.

I haven't read any reviews, and won't do so until I'm finished with it, but I totally disagree with anyone who says that it is bad. I think it's great.Jordan Mychal Lemos
