There was one in Morrowind, but he was infected with corpus and deformed, there are other renderings though (statues).

They need to bring that race back in some DLC, that would be awesome.

Check this out for a little bit of that lore:

Well just realized I sold my starting thieves guild armor sometime earlier on accident. At the same time I realized that I can't go any farther in the thieves guild line without it. SMH.

I wish I paid better attention when I sold things. Hopefully Bethesda could make up a fix for being able to buy it back.

            Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

So after going through some real frustration with the game freezing (PS3) on me way too often I went ahead and disabled the autosave feature.

So far so good. I think it was all those autosave piling up at 10 and 11 MB's.

I also noticed the freezes would usually happen during or right after an auto save.

I was able to enjoy a 2 hour session last night without a freeze. Something I had not been able to do in the last 2 weeks.

So far that is the only thing that has been a flaw in this otherwise amazing game.

So I got married last night and low and behold a couple of followers who I thought I had lost (never saw them get killed) showed up at the wedding. I went ahead and hired back one of them to get all my awesome loot he was carrying! The other one (Dark Elf in Whiterun) told me she can be found again in her usual place. I can get some loot back from her eventually. But the other one had a ton of great loot that I thought was gone forever. I thought it was cool how they all showed up to the wedding.

Meantime I am loving the Thieves Guild questlines. Lot's of good fun thus far. After I finish those we continue the Dark Brotherhood (did my first hit and have not gone back to the kids to tell him yet).

I also have found a couple of caves along my travels that have kicked my *** and forced me to "run away...***n away!" Wow the level scaling has been a nice balance on this game.

Any word on DLC for PS3/360 in the works?

              This isn't much, but it's a guess:

If you have been playing Skyrim since its release you have probably completed the game’s main quest, so what’s next? Well there’s loads of side quests to take on, but these are quite repetitive and not very challenging, we suppose you could play through the game again with another race – but that won’t interest all of you, therefore what people really want is downloadable-content which will bring completely new quests to Skyrim.
Today we thought we would look at some games which Bethesda Softworks have developed in recent times and see if there’s any pattern which may perhaps help us predict just when Skyrim DLC will hit Xbox Live, the PlayStation Network and Steam. Before we get started let’s not forget that back in June Bethesda’s Executive Producer and Game Director, Todd Howard, previously stated that Skyrim add-ons would be more substantial than what we have seen from Bethesda in the past – so nothings set-in-stone.
Let’s start with Oblivion, this game was first released in March 2006 and soon after plenty of small downloadable packages were available to download such as horse armour, however we had to wait a little longer for additional quests. Firstly ‘The Orrery’ arrived in early April, but it wasn’t very extensive, the same could be said about ‘The Wizard’s Tower’, some larger-scale DLC arrived in June but we had to wait until November when ‘Knights of the Nine’ arrived when we could finally say that a substantial add-on had arrived – so we had to wait roughly 8 months in all.
The next notable release developed by Bethesda was Fallout 3, this hit all platforms in October 2008 and we don’t have to explain just how successful this game was. This time round Bethesda scrapped small downloadable packs and instead brought five expansions to the game, the first of which arrived almost exactly 3 months after the game’s release, the next four installments arrived within the next seven months (roughly 6-8 weeks apart).
Prior to Skyrim the last game which Bethesda Softworks had developed and released was Fallout: New Vegas – this arrived in late October 2010. Bethesda released four expansions which were similar in terms of size of content as Fallout 3, the first hit Xbox Live in late December, whilst PS3 and PC gamers had to wait until February 2012 – this means that 360 gamers had to wait roughly two months for the first DLC release, whilst everyone else had to wait four months. The next DLC release hit Xbox Live in May and was exclusive to Microsoft’s console for one month – all subsequent releases arrived at the same time on all platforms (‘Old World Blues’ July 19th and ‘Lonesome Road’ September 20).
Before we begin our Skyrim DLC release date predictions we will quickly remind you that the first two DLC packs will be coming to Xbox Live first, also we must point out that our predictions are based on previous trends and could in fact turn out to be far-from accurate.
If we had to place a bet on when Skyrim’s first lot of DLC will arrive we think it will come between 8 weeks and 12 weeks after the game’s release, however as we have heard no mention of DLC yet we think it will be closer to 12 weeks than 8. We believe that is development goes to plan content will be announced in late January and will arrive on Xbox Live somewhere around February 11, it won’t hit other platforms until at least 30 days later. After this we expect subsequent releases to be spaced out two months apart, the second DLC release will also boast at least 30 days of exclusivity on Xbox Live, but after this all other Skyrim DLC should hit all platforms at the same time.
So there you have it folks, we have been brave and predicted that the first-ever Skyrim DLC release will take place on roughly February 11, 2012 for Xbox Live (and a month later for other platforms), we then think this will be followed by more releases every two to three months – do you think that our prediction will turn out to be accurate?

As long as we don't get horse armor again, I'm looking forward to DLC. While it's probably just set decoration, I hope that they didn't put the gate to Morrowind and part of Cyordil in for nothing.

I've been doing some Solitude quests, mainly Wolf Queen, and other things to raise money to buy Proudspire. I've discovered my love of maces, mainly how the Ebony mace looks. While a little bummed that I can't use Elemental Fury with an enchanted weapon, they do wonders on undead.

Considering my new horse seems programmed to fight people instead of hide behind the nearest rock like Horse the Awesome did when I got in combat, I could use some horse armor.

I don't know how many times that damn thing's almost died on me.

Funny you say this. Last night my horse, single handedly killed a small frost spider. I was quite proud of him.

So yeah........I shouldn't have chose College of Winterhold quests to do at level 7. Their quests are VERY HARD, I was getting my butt kicked left and right. Came across a dragon priest to get something quest related and he quickly destroyed me. Took me 4 hours to beat him.

Going to put the quests on hold for now and work on leveling up and getting better armor and weapons, steel is a no go LMAO. So far I have had 2 companions die on me, Lydia and Urthrea the Unbreakable. Unfortunately the Falger in the Dwarven cave broke her and broke her rather quickly and killed her LOL.

I have no house, never had a horse......So therefore my battle mage route isn't going so well. Definitely need to level up my skills by TON. Dragon Priests and Dragon Born enemies are no joke in those caves around Winter Hold. Even came across a Dragon Born dog that nearly killed me.

Over all though, this game is so awesome with the randomness it is. Depending on the day and the time of day, no 2 people will see the same things in this game.

I'm up to level 17, by just doing about 3-4 main quests, enough whiterun quests to become a Thane, the companion quests and just roaming from hold to hold finding and clearing forts roaming the woods. Went "river rafting" killed a troll and mined some Orch ore. Having fun, but haven't made it to the College of Winterhold yet, but now I'm curious.
