    RIP Horse the Awesome

A large pack of Frostbite Spiders ganged up on him and killed him while I was off doing something else. I should've paid more attention. It's all my fault.

I have a new horse. He's gray and blotchy, not black and strong like Horse the Awesome.

I shall call him Horse the Insufficient Replacement.

What exactly do you do to get a new horse? Steal one? What are the repercussions if I do steal one? I have Frosty and he's been bloodied a few times but he's a fighter. No way am I paying 1000 gold for a horse.

I bought both of them. The repercussions, I think, are a giant bounty on your head in the town that you take it in.

I had one randomly show up in the wild once with a saddle on it and everything. I could've taken it, it didn't say STEAL when I went up next to it. Just RIDE. That happened near this little cabin that's near the back exit of Bleak Falls Barrow.

If no one sees you take it then there is no penalty other than everytime you get off the horse then want to get back on it will still say "steal" and also stolen horses, once you get off of them, start to walk back to where they were stolen from.

A funny thing happened to my first horse I bought. I bought from the guy at the stables outside of Whiterun. I was a bit leary buying from him, but considering my options and trekking by foot was getting old I laid down 1,000 gold coin for a horse. I'm riding east towards the meadery and decide to get off the horse. As soon as I get off the horse skates back about ten feet and freaking launches up into the air. I just stood there amazed. From his direction it appeared he was "flying" back to the stables, so I ran over and sure enough he had "landed" and died. So, I had him for all of 30 seconds. Damn Whiterun Stables; running a racket here.

I love this game. Random dragon encounter outside of Riften. My fire shout hit the dragon, but also some of the Riften guards. The idiots also aggro'ed a cave bear. I killed the dragon, killed the bear, basically saved the Guards. But they still were pissed that I light one of them on fire.

So I did what I had to do. Wiped everyone out. Bye-Bye bounty.

I hope another dragon comes and messes up that little farm when I am not around. It will serve them right.

Has anyone rolled up on a town that's already fighting a dragon? I thought that was supposed to be in the game from early previews? Maybe roll up on it, things were on fire, etc?

Doesn't seem right that the dragon just attacks the town when you go into it.

                        I haven't seen it yet.

Usually a dragon attacks a town because I crouch when they fly over me and then in the distance I see it breathing flames at an unsuspecting town. Then I usually sprint into town fighting the dragon I was trying to avoid in the first place.

I've seen it with towns, but it usually seemed like the dragon just now started the attack and I've never seen anything on fire that wasn't a scripted event.

Something I only saw once, was a dragon attacking a town that had it's own map. I fast traveled to the Blue Palace (Solitude) and a dragon was there when it loaded.

I've fought a dragon in Windhelm (I think that's the one it was) before. It was pretty bad *** because it was landing on walls and buildings and ****.

One time when I returning to Morthal a dragon quickly flew into the town and starting attacking people. I of course ran up and took the lead in bringing him down, but a woodcutter dude, who was a cool guy, got killed.

I didn't want to his wife, who ran the potion shop, to be a widow, so I reloaded and fought the battle again. This time I saved him, but now his wife was dead instead I was kind of worried that one of them was scripted to die, but when I reloaded again I saved both of them, and luckily no other people died.
