    Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

I'm about 25 hours into the game, and I just continue to be amazed at the depth and freedom of Skyrim. I can't get enough.

And fighting dragons NEVER gets old.

I was probably in the low tens, 12-14ish, when I was able to solo a dragon.

There's a problem when using levels as a guideline though. One person could get to level 10 by leveling up passive skills such as Lockpicking Smithing, Alchemy and Speech and have absolutely no combat skills what so ever and could never take down a dragon at level 10. Another person could get to level 10 by leveling up only Heavy Armor and 2H weapons and take down a dragon with ease.

It would appear that at some point in my adventures, I somehow misplaced my head.

Someone needs to hurry and make a mod to unlock enchants for all pieces. Sick of not having the choices I want.

I got the Elven set made and ironically I started to become more of a bow guy, leaning off the melee rogue stuff. And I came across a random dungeon that took almost an hour to get through with an awesome ending of the last chamber.

                  Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Just had a homeless guy express interest in me. Caught me off guard good thing I realized what he was saying right before I hit "Yes I am interested." Just one of those random unexpected events in this game.

An unrelated question. What is the best way to improve my conjuration skill?

Keep summoning things when you're raiding tombs/caves.

I haven't killed a dragon by myself yet, but have killed a giant. Basically took my wood elf archer a stealth arrow and then backpedaling as fast as a I could while shooting and I managed to down one. However, I have yet to take out an ice troll as their health regen is annoying, so I try to avoid them.

From reading the book in game on ice trolls, sounds like you need to use some kind of fire to defeat them, a bow of scorching or something like that.

So I should be proud of killing the ice troll then? How awesome of me.

                              Legitimate or Illegitimate?

One way I've found is to use soul trap a lot, I don't know if you get a exp or not for capturing the soul, so carry some soul empty gems to fill them.

A cheap way is to get the conjuration bound sword, find an animal you can easily avoid(it has to be hostile though) like a mudcrab, and just constantly summon and sheath the bound sword. Your skill will raise really fast with this method.

I don't know, I've never had a problem with trolls. I just do what I'd normally do for another creature and hack it to pieces. It helps to open with a bow sneak attack though.

I feel angry for having to turn off the game to watch Michigan/Nebraska.

That, my friends, is an addiction.
