It should be linking you to a previous post of mine in this thread, I'll quote it for you though:
What sucks about trying to decorate your house manually, when you exit and come back, it looks like a tornado whipped through your house.
I spent some time setting up my beer and wine cabinet with a bunch of different bottles I had hoarded only to come back later and find them scattered all over the dining room. The corner where I had set up my musical instruments looked like Jimi Hendrix had visited and had his way with them.Oakland Athletics San Jose Sharks

Nobody else there. I'm assuming it just has to do with the collision boxes that surround objects. If they aren't placed perfectly they conflict with each other sending a chain reaction scattering the objects.
Not saying decorating can't be done, just be aware there are limitations. I couldn't figure it out though since sometimes two objects on the same table but far away from each other would still scatter.Oakland Athletics San Jose Sharks

I do wish the house was larger with more customizable decor, like armor stands (like Oblivion Knights of the Nine), more weapon racks/plates, set bottle shelves similar to the bookshelves, etc. Sanguine rose does look awesome in the weapon rack, BTW.Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Agreed about more customizable decor. I do wish we weren't locked into buying set packages/upgrades. I'd like the option to also buy storage objects, weapons racks/plates, bookshelves etc and put them where I want.
Having other furniture that accepts a specific type of item and arranges them automatically like the bookshelves do would definitely be nice as well.Last edited by Mabster; 11-18-2011, 09:44 PM.Oakland Athletics San Jose Sharks

One thing I hope the DLC addresses is "high level quests" that are challenging when your character is maxed and has access to everything."Good music transcends all physical limits, it's more then something you hear, it's something that you feel, when the author, experience, and passion is real" - Murs (And this is for)Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Wow. So I was just exploring. Got to the top of a mountain with a Dragon Logo and turns out that I have to fight a regular Dragon and a Blood Dragon at the same time.
Barely survive the battle by using up all of my health/magika potions only to run into some crazy powerful mage called a Krosis. That thing destroyed me.
Luckily I saved right after I took down the second dragon, and was able to be a snipe and hide behind some rocks in a 15+ minute battle to take him down.
The stuff he was guarding/had is pretty sweet though.Last edited by CC; 11-18-2011, 06:03 PM.Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
That's not entirely true, I lost my Orc companion because I ran far enough back to lose my enemies attention. They went back to fighting him instead, which finally killed him. They don't only die from you. But it is more likely that you do the fatal strike on them if anything.Celtics Bruins Sox Eagles Liverpool

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I think my mood in games has changed where I want to do other things besides the main story line and if its just the story line, I find myself losing interest quicker than I used to.
I just spent 2 or 3 hours figuring out how and where I need to go to build my new armor set (Elven).
I notice I've talked out loud to NPCs like the snobby kids in WhiterunAaron

I was probably around the same level when I ran into the first dragon. Of course it was part of the main mission and I had all of Whiterun helping me, but pretty much I've been handling them solo ever since.
I've been running into Elder Dragons now and they seem a bit tougher. Not tough to the point where I need a companion though. I kitted out a tank, gave him enchanted, legendary steel plate gear and a strong shield/one hander combo and he still died pretty quick to an elder. I was able to kill it myself without too much of a problem.
Scope out your surroundings for potential cover so that when the dragon lands or hovers you can line of sight the breath it does initally then peek out and snipe him, or try to sprint behind them while striking them in melee. If there's no cover then sprint or use the sprint shout when they land or hover to get out of the breaths.
Also, keep health and resist potions on hand, as well combat boosting potions depending on what skills you're focusing on.PS: You guys are great.
