Lvl 30 now....

But I got my Smithing to 100, w/perks in the smithing line up to Dragon armor. It kicks ***....dragon for the armor, and glass for the swords. To test, I fought some giants, and took them down like they were mud crabs....

Some advice for smithing/enchanting...spoilered just in case

Even with 100 in smithing, if you have an item that adds to the skill (or a potion), use it. I smithed a normal glass sword, and it was 54 base dmg with improvement, but with a potion of smithing, it's 59.

And for enchanting, always try to use the largest soul gem you have. I didn't realize until I used a Grand soul gem that it increases the charges available by a huge amount. For now, I save all my large soul gems (either bought or created myself) for enchanting weapons, and fill them with the lesser gems.

Ahhhhh it's been almost 6 years since I got to satisfy my serial killer urges.

Nothing like coming across some random hunter at a camp...and then kill her and take all her wares.

Some vendor that has stuff I want that I don't want to pay for? And it's in a building where nobody can see? Oh...he's so dead.

I've made something like 8,000 gold doing nothing but slaughtering innocents. And I still haven't seen the Dark Brotherhood yet.

I just got the Amulet of Mara, so hopefully it lets me start coercing female NPCs out into the wilderness where I can satisfy more bloodlust.

I have been waiting for you to make an appearance TC. So, how goes the mass murdering business,Lol. I have not purchased the game yet, is it all that people say that it its? I plan on getting it Friday.

Phobia, that sounds real bad *** and you've given me an idea for a character.

While I'm enjoying what I'm reading, I still don't know half the things you guys are talking about. Would I be fine just reading about this on wiki or somewhere else on the Internet, or should I get the strategy guide?

It was pretty **** Shiz! I was stoked after it all went down. Granted that story happened in the later evening part. I took a pic with my cell phone in the AM with the dragon corpse. Which I will try and get a picture up of my 2 hand tank when I get a chance.

As far as I know, Heavy Armor doesn't hurt your magicka, but since all of the +regen bonuses are on clothes, that's the benefit.

There's nothing stopping you from disenchanting a few pieces of clothing and then placing a bunch of +magicka regen enchantments on your suit of plate mail, though.

yep, this was my plan... now I just need to get better at enchanting so my +50% regen turns into something more useful than a +3% regen when I enchant it into a piece of armor

Most replayability in a game ever? I mean, I've started a bunch of different characters and the way I've begun each game has been drastically different in terms of where I go, who I run into, random encounters, loot drops, etc.

Also, what do you guys feel is the worst racial power? For me it's gotta be the Khajiit's night vision. It's not even that dark at night and I haven't run into any caves where it was so dark that I couldn't see anything.

Hey, Nova! It's more fun than it's ever been, that's for sure . To the point where my wife and mother are a little worried about my sanity.

And as far as the game...I won't even try to sugarcoat it. Most amazing RPG I've ever played. I've started a zillion toons checking stuff out, and every single experience feels different. I've been in the civil war with one, a dragon slayer with another, nothing but a hunter/gatherer with another...a bounty hunter with yet another.

A staggering amount of stuff to do.

I'm thinking of starting a new character. The fact that I've had basically the same armor for 10 levels has kind of irritated me. There's also the fact that Elemental fury is bugged to hell, which took some air out of the fun of being dual wielder.

Gonna do a mage, but have a question. With my current character at level 30, and destruction at 50, I've yet to see anything other than novice and apprentice level spells to buy. Why is that?

There is a perk for decapitation and a perk for disemberment.

Here's a table I found that might help with character creation/race choosing...

"The following table shows the starting Skill statistics for each Race. The higher the number (over the base level of 15) the better. Values of 20 indicate this is a Favored Skill of the race. Values of 25 indicate this is a Primary Skill of the Race." -Skyrim strategy guide
