For people trying to grind levels, especially using non-combat skills, using a trainer is paramount. In fact I would say that leveling without maxing the allowed training, especially in those skills that are difficult to grind (heavy/light armor), is a waste.

      5000 gold.

I can buy one in White Run I believe (where you pick up Lydia and do your first main dragon quest). I can buy one in that town. I believe you need to be given permission by every towns leader.

Anyway that is my goal right now as I want a pad so I can store all my loot and not worry about being so encumbered all the time.

I am absolutely floored at how amazing this game is.

No doubt it is the best RPG ever. And soon may be my GOAT with Batman AC. I can't stop playing and every time I sit to play and I say "oh let's get in a couple of hours" it turns into a 5 hour marathon.

      Insane.

      Just got my hardcover guide.

All I can say is OMG. Truly beautiful and the map that comes with it. Wow. Also the digital map is amazing.

      Must have.

The last one killed the guy and I was literally heartbroken. I contemplated reloading but I decided to accept it. I got to level 100 in smithing fairly quickly. It's the easiest to level really. Daedric armor is the best armor even better than dragon armor.

Check with the Steward in the keep/castle. The house is right next to the front gate, near the armor shop. Great location.

Cant think of his name, but he is upstairs from the room that the Jarl sits in. He's an old guy, he was sleeping in bed when I did the quest to turn in a bounty to him.

My goodness, I just saw what the Daedric Armor looks like. I need to make that happen ASAP. It looks incredible.

I guess i'll focus on making a set of Deadric armor for the time being. I just have no clue where to find Daedric hearts.

Do you get the option to buy the house in Whiterun if you don't progress in the main quest? I want to hold off on the main quest in my next character but want to make sure I still have the option to buy a house (even if it's not in Whiterun).

My next character will be a Nord who will eventually get involved in the war between the Imperials and Stormcloaks (haven't decided which side). I'm going to try role playing him as somebody who hates magic and refuses to use it (no spells, won't pick up enchanted items, etc). Should be interesting as enchanted items are a huge money maker in this game.

Yeah Stu, you can. I've only done the first or second mission of the storyline, and was given the option to buy it. Just have to talk to the guy that serves the Jarl personally.

Any of you playing the game w/ a GTX 560ti ? If so, what kind of frames, quality are you getting?
