Well, forget that plan. Somebody smashed a window on my house and stole my xbox with Skyrim in the console and my ipad. Nothing else. Had kinect hooked up, a stack of xbox games and a Wii right there too. Totally pissed.

Is it me or is there a significant decrease in enemy types in this game? I havent noticed a major variety in enemies.

Yup. I just finished a final exam. Was excited to rush home and play more, but gotta watch my Wolverines.

Things like this are why I love Skyrim...

          Spoiler

I also love how things are completely random, as in what you'll encounter if you go through the same area twice, at different times, etc.

This game just is beyond belief...

I like having the markers turned off for quests. Especially the MISC ones. Just the thought of randomly stumbling across a place I know I have to hit up is awesome.

Also encountered my first cave of trolls this morning (I haven't got to play nearly as much as I'd like) and, yeah, tough bastards.

I had to turn it off to watch the Bama game, so I feel your pain.

I've only ever seen one ice troll, but they give you a serviceable fire spell from the beginning, so I hit him with fire, few whacks from sword (I'm majorly a 2 hand fighter, but I have a one hand weapon for backup and when using a torch), then fire and it went down.

On the regular game front, I joined the thieves guild and trained pickpocket, also hit 70 in heavy armor and am now using 75 out of 580 carry weight. Bring on the enchanted equipment laden dungeons.

I know in Oblivion your maximum carry weight was based off of your strength...probably something similar in Skyrim. The more strength you had, the more you could carry.

Edit: Encumbrance equaled 5 times your strength in Oblivion.

So apparently 5 bounty is enough to get the entire town of Falkreath to attack you. Broke into someone's home and when I leave there's about 8 guards outside ready to kill me.

Not 5 seconds later does a dragon land in the middle of the city. The guards don't even aggro to it so now I've got 8 guys with swords and bows shooting me plus a dragon breathing fire.

I just ran out of the town. Hope that dragon burns it to the ground.

Making my way over to the College of Winterhold finally, I tend to peer off the roads a lot going into different dungeons, etc.

Found a wispmother thing just chilling there, get killed a few times finally figure how to avoid all her ice bolts and have a crazy 5 minute duel with her ice and my firebolts. Got really nothing from that battle.

Continue up the road, get eaten by a sabre cat. Talk about an interesting trip lol.

I've yet to really see any random dragons, I had one from the main quest in beginning and one that I got from a bounty in a town.

I had an interesting encounter, I was in Riften or maybe Solitude at night and hear someone yell something then draw a sword, as I turn to see what's up I get nailed by an arrow so I draw my sword thinking I was about to crack some skulls. When I finally get turned I see half the town guard pelting some fool with arrows, needless to say he goes down quick and the guards walk away. I go over to the poor dead fool and check his corpse and he had a bunch of random household items, I guess he was a thief. Good news for me, he had a flawless diamond on him which I helped myself to.
