I feel like I already need to restart because my character (went with a wood elf because I wanted to be a badass archer) kinda sucks already hahah.

As someone who is unfamiliar with RPGs and these kind of games, what's a good base character to start out with in order to be a kinda stealthy character? Light armor/sneak/one handed/archer as the main traits?

I am using a wood elf for all of those traits and love it. Probably your only other options would be Dark Elf, Khajit, and the reptile race (can't remember actual name).

My next character will be a heavy armored, two-handed weapon, Nord. I am gonna go straight through the main questline with him.

Gonna make him like that leader in the 13th Warrior, focusing on weapon perks, speechcraft, heavy armor, smithin, stamina...

Is anyone here experiencing this? I only have like 5 hours of play time so its still pretty smooth though slightly laggy when switching to 3rd person.

Could anybody tell me how to get my first house? I'm a level 18 and I have had to sell a lot of cool stuff because I just don't have the room to carry it.

Talk to the steward in Dragonsreach. He's usually right next to the Jarl or at the table. There's been a few times where I haven't seen him in there, but if you wait until the afternoon he should be there.

He may be in the living quarters too if you take the stairs to the right of the Jarl and go right across to the other end of the room.

Yeah I'd suggest this against any caster, just LOS (Line of Sight) because they can't shoot through walls/hard objects.

I wouldn't trust that completely. Stuff disappears. How can you be certain he's the only one that had access to that house?

You could always store your stuff at the respective bases of whichever guilds/groups you're apart of. I currently keep my extras in Jorrvaskr.
