Yeah, I see that now, completely whiffed on the reading comprehension there.

Edit: Oh and damn this game. Nothing like saying "1 more quest" then over 2 hours later I realize I've done like 5.

Usually I would be swearing at my xbox and a game for freezing, but when Skyrim froze on me tonight I just thought "I guess that was the only way I would actually stop playing." I've realized I have no self control when it comes to stopping playing this game.

Also I need to stop creating new characters. It's getting a bit ridiculous for me having 5 characters all of different styles at level 20-25.

I've experienced something like that on the 360. It occurs when I try to fight the dragon near
        Spoiler
. The dragon is spastic as well, never lands or wants to fight and flies backwards. I thought it could've been just a one-off glitch but that certain dragon always causes my game to have framerate issues so I gotta run away from it. It also has occurred on 2 of my different character saves.

Anyone else encountered this problem when trying to fight this specific or other dragons?

Same here. I've gotten 3 characters so far, a mage, a thief/killer and a two handed warrior.

Also, I wish Skyrim organized it's saves like Mass Efffect, where every character has it's own set of saves.

Me too. I don't like mages in the game, though. I've created a few and I just don't find them as fun as other styles.

I think I'm gonna restart now that I have a better understanding of the game. Currently a level 14 and I haven't trained since like level 3/4. I feel I've missed so much at the beginning after reading things on here as well as spending some time reading the strategy guide.

Guess I will put my character to rest and restart today since I'm off and no one will be home

Yup, my nord refuses to wear anything she didn't kill and skin.

I read at http://www.psxextreme.com/ps3-news/10310.html that if you disable all save options and just do manual saves at times it seems to help the lag issue for the PS3 version. I'll probably play this way until they can fix the problem but I just have to remember to save more frequently.

Do headshots with arrows actually deal more damage? I can't really tell if placement of your shots matter

That's what I suspected. Thanks. Saves me from trying to pull off those shots.

Although they are pretty satisfying regardless.

Added yesterday to the bethesda blog's patch/creation kit post:

Updated 12/6: While the 1.2 update fixed the long-term play issues for most PS3 users, we are aware that is not the case for some. We’ve been reaching out to a number of those users to collect save games, so we can take a look at their specific issues. Right now we know it’s not one thing, but a combination of smaller ones that some folks are seeing, but others are not. Some seem to be the PS3 autosaving in the background (you can turn that off), some may be SPU AI updates, and some may relate to dynamic system memory allocation. These fixes are not in the current 1.3 update that is in final testing, but will be in future ones. We understand how frustrating it can be when your game is having issues, and we thank all of you for your continued feedback and patience. Rest assured we take your gameplay experience seriously and will continue working on this until it’s resolved.

To be honest I love my two-handed lvl 6 Nord much better than my lvl 23 Wood Elf. Have yet to die as my Nord, whereas I've probably died 30+ times with my Wood Elf. Did come close to dying with my Nord, after my first encounter with a Troll; vile beings they are.

I love rushing an enemy with my Battle Axe, chopping at his legs, and then splitting him in half. I also must say it feels much better to journey with a Housecarl. Never used Lydia with my Wood Elf, didn't want to bring her along on my Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild quests.....but journeying with a partner through the vast wilderness is much more enjoyable.
I started out as a wood elf and leveled up to 24, but really wasn't feeling the gameplay aspect of it as I'm not the best stealth player, but I started recently as a nord specializing in two handed weapons and I'm having so much fun. I feel like a juggernaut and love the offensive style I'm developing. I've died a couple times, but not nearly as much as my wood elf character because my in close combat skills are better as a nord. I'm thinking about specializing in two-hand and smithing for right now, and I haven't settled on where I'm going to spend my remaining perks.
