I got instantly pissed when I read this because it reminded me that I have not been using my Dragon shouts or my racial power. I've actually never used the voice of the king (Imperial power).

66 hours and I think I'm done. Obviously there's still tons of stuff to do, but I did finish the main quest, Companions, Mage's College, and the Civil War stuff. I would've kept going but with The Old Republic starting up next week, I'll never get to this. I'm planning on picking up the GOTY PC version down the line, so when I do I'll still have TONS of stuff to do (Dark Brotherhood, Thieves Guild), along with all the mods of course.

Overall, fantastic experience. I've never spent anything close to 66 hours in a single player game before. That's crazy. Totally immersive experience and I loved every minute of it.

It's always something we stupidly overlook. Glad it wasn't a game glitch and instead was just a brain glitch.

Only at a level 15, but my sneak is up at 49 and my archery is at 52 (with a bunch of bonus persk for both) so it's definitely fun one-shotting a lot of people.

Plus, I've become an arrow hoarder. I will buy every arrow I find when I come across it, and if you have arrows on your back you can be damn sure I'll be pickpocketing or killing you.

But for real...I currently have 1,047 arrows in my inventory (148 Ancient Nord, 36 Dwarven, 583 Iron, 89 Orcish, 191 Steel).

Sounds like we're building similar characters. I'm level 19, with archery at 54 and sneak at 60. So much fun one shotting stuff. Just need to find a better bow. I'm hoping my travels in the thieves guild will provide me with one. I know i'll eventually get my smithing up to 90 and make a Daedric Bow, but as of right now, my smithing is only like level 40.

Yeah, I'm currently just using the dwarves bow as it is the best one I've been able to find so far in my travels. I'm too noobish at this game to worry about making my own weapons haha.

I got kinda bored with my stealth character. Started a new one, going to try to make a pure mage. We'll see what happens.

So i've encountered quite a crappy glitch. I can't use the forge, grindstone, or workbench at all. I hit X, and instead of going into the animation for each, it just zooms out to 3rd person for like 3 seconds, then back to first. I can't do anything.

Anyone run into this and know of a workaround? I tried reloading a recent save, but that didn't work, and the closest save to that is like 4 hours ago. No way in hell i'm going back that far.

I've read about this bug. Reloading a save works sometimes (didn't for you) or try leaving the area and coming back.

Edit: Also, try using the grindstone/workbench in 3rd person to start with.

Tried all that. I left the area a few times, both via fast travel and just hoofing it.

I'm gonna be SOL if I can't fix this. I planned my character around unlocking the daedric bow eventually, along with improving it at the grindstone.
