    Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

My character is a gold whore. The only thing I love more than gold is my horse and my wife. And I'll do anything for gold. I have no problem with being a part of the Thieve's Guild, the Companions, all that. I'm a freaking mercenary.

And I, a dark elf, actually plan to fight FOR the Stormcloaks in an effort to show the Jarl that elves have value and should be respected, so maybe I can improve conditions for the elves relegated to the slums of Windhelm.

See, I do have a heart. But if that heart gets in the way of some extra gold, then screw it.

Lol this is the reason I have a bounty on my head in Whiterun. At first the guards were saying things like "can it be true?, are you dragon born?" and telling me thier life stories.
Then I traveled to the mages college and learned some spells and completed some quests. When returning to Whiterun I was told to go "cast my fancy magic elsewhere", well that just didn't sit well with me. Long story short most of the whiterun guards are now burn victims and I'm attacked on sight.

Can't you just tell one of the guards that you're a Thane and that clears your bounty?

I'm not really sure if the severity of the crime matters.

I'd do some research before willingly giving yourself up first, though. Because if it doesn't work you'd be screwed.

Yeah, I started to do that and was like naw they not even worth my time burning. Hating on me because I know spells, screw them. Me and my follower just walk through with our awesome armor and I just be saying to myself, haters going to hate, we about to make it rain in the inn and buy out the bar

Thanks to Dayman. I also double crossed the Akal'i or whatever. The bandits in the cave before them kicked my *** for a good 40 minutes. Had to drop my shield brother and get Lydia to beat them.

Ok, so I'm pretty sure my disc is f'd up. When the game starts up the Bethesda thing comes up and next the skyrim dragon symbol comes and after about 5 minutes it's still there. Crap!

Have they fixed that God- Awful framerate hitch on the PS3 yet, or should I just go 360. Last time I tried Skyrim on the PS3, I really liked it, it was immersive as hell, but the framerate killed it for me.

So is Winterhold the location for mages in the game? I remember reading when the game was loading that there is no longer a Mages Guild. What happened to it?

Yeah the Mages College is north of Winter Hold. Massive place, you can see it from the city.
