Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Just spent 3 hours straight getting my smithing up to 100. Made more Iron Daggers than I can stand, but I got it done. Created the full dragon set and let me say, it is badass. Definitely worth the pain and misery of that 40-100 grind.Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I don't have any use for dragonplate, prefer Daedric for myself and a follower is way too easy to mistake for a Draugr in dragonplate (I know from experience, she now wears full ebony).
Just as an aside, how annoying is it that they decided to not only have you able to get a companion (follower) but also throw in a faction called the companions?Comment

I'm surprised they don't let you smith arrows. Also is there any way to enchant actual arrows and not just the bows? Thought it be cool to have my bow lessen magic resistance and have my arrows do magic damage.
I also think I'm goin to make another character that does life leach and mana leech stuff. Also wears mana and life regeneration items. Idk if you can yet but it would be awesome.

Dumb mistake I made after the Dragon armor. I sold all my dragon bones, when I could made my gear superior or whatever it is. I'm bummed out about that, but it only takes a couple of dragon bones, nothing substantial.Comment

Anyone play as a pure mage yet? I am considering it as thats the most fun I had with Oblivian. Any comments?Comment

I haven't but I imagine they're some tough punks when you get them geared up. One time I hit the greybeards with my axe and they raped me.Comment

My character has a 1114 armor rating. Lol. My one handed sword does about 180-200 damage as well.

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Armor rating is essentially capped at 567 (80% damage reduction).
Just playing around the other day I had a Daedric Greatsword that had a damage rating of 3,862,468 and an armor rating of 27,037,232 (used the potion glitch). I could one hit anything in the game, faught giants, mammoths and an ancient dragon. It was only fun for just a few minutes before I reverted back, being overpowered is boring.Last edited by Burns11; 12-10-2011, 09:32 PM.Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Those wacky Forsworn. In a castle I was attacking earlier this morning, two of them saved me the trouble of having to kill them, by accidentally setting off their own traps and killing themselves. One set off a tripwire and had four boulders roll over him crushing him to death, and the other one stepped on a plate igniting a fire trap causing her to get burnt to a crisp.
It's like, "Thanks for saving me some arrows, peeps."Jordan Mychal Lemos

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I think I'm finally starting the burnout phase of Skyrim. Since it has came out I've played it non stop (hasn't left my xbox) and for the first time today I finally felt the feeling of what is there left to do? I'll probably still play for much much longer, but I'm positive I've pumped over 100 hours into the game. Anyone in the same boat? Like, I'm still into this game intensely, but I've finally reached that point where I feel like I have finally slightly lost interest. Maybe went down from 100% to 90%.Comment
