Aaaaand ditto for me, but substitute Power Rangers Time Force/Zeo/Space/Dino Thunder/Jungle Fury/Mystic Force/Turbo/Ninja Storm/etc. for my son, who would rather watch his shows on my TV than the computer .

It's absurd. Although, god bless my wife, I made a passing comment about the day the game comes out, and she actually told me to take a vacation day if I wanted to, and that her and the kids were going to go shopping with her mother for the day since she has it off for holiday anyways. She knows how much of an Oblivion nut I was.

Now, all that's left is to stock up on beer for next Friday.

What are PC players without top of the line rigs doing? I'm debating on playing low-medium settings on my PC w/ mods vs. PS3. I went this route with NBA 2k12 and am very happy but that is a much less demanding game. I also have my computer hooked up to my LCD TV so that is not an issue.

Mine isn't exactly top of the line anymore, but there's still no doubt in my mind which one I'm getting. The Medium settings on Oblivion still beat the PS3's graphics IMO, and I'm sure I'd be able to run Skyrim on at least that. If I'm not mistaken Skyrim's req's aren't as high as Battlefield 3's, and it stays very playable for me at medium settings.

And then there's the mods, which makes the decision even easier.

So I decided to check out PC Requirements Lab for kicks and giggles, and apparently my rig passes the minimum requirements for Skyrim, but fails the recommended requirements for processor, RAM, and video card. If I for some reason decided to run this on PC at some point, would it have to be at low settings?

                      Here's my exact specs:

                      3.2 GHz

Take her up to a cliff, use the frost "dragon shout" we've seen in videos so she falls off frozen. While she's falling, call in your dragon buddy(as talked about and shown in previews) to roast her

Its a fully modded version of Morrowind. Looks pretty good. I dled it over the weekend. Gonna dust off Morrowind and give it a try. Someone has came out with a package that has all of the best Morrowind mods. If yall haven't gave Morrowind a shot by now, this is a good time to get familiar with the series.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim PC is gonna 'melt your face'.

As with most multi-platform games, there is a lot of concern about the quality of Bethesda’s highly anticipated RPG, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim’s PC version. And although we do know that the game will support mods – thus will achieve higher levels of image fidelity due to texture packs and mods, Pete Hines has stated that the vanilla PC version is impressive and great looking. In fact, when Pete was asked by a fan about the PC version, he replied that it will ‘melt your face’ – provided you already have a high-end PC.
In other news, there have been some rumors that the PC screenies that have been released so far are on low-medium settings. This was done purposely as to not alienate their sponsor (Microsoft) which they are demo’ing the game through. This also explains the underwhelming visuals that were presented. As said, these are rumors at the moment so take them with a grain of salt.
