Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I haven't seen my computer coming close to the minimum bar for 7 years. A Pentium 4 has not been exactly top of the line for a while. It had hyper threading though!Comment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I feel ya man. In all honesty, I wish I had a computer that could run it, as it would be a sight to behold. That, and I know first hand from Oblivion how awesome the mods can be. But then again, i'd rather be staring at a 42" LCD than a smaller computer monitor, all the while chilling in the recliner. As it is, I think I enjoyed my playthrough of Oblivion more on the 360 than the PC despite the mods, as it was easier to kick back and chill with the game for hours on the TV than it was to sit at a computer desk for long periods of time.
Slightly OT, but the wait just got easier. Checked Gamefly, and despite them not receiving my last game back until Saturday to open a spot in my queue, Uncharted 3 still shipped. Should be here Wednesday. So that gives me a little over a week to beat the single player, then it's off to Skyrim.
I use to do a lot of PC gaming on my TV several years back when "The Hidden" was popular. I doubt many will remember that Half Life 2 mod but it was a sick game which I ruled at LOL
Also a big TV gave me a big advantage in that game compared to others on smaller screensComment

Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Guys, be careful with that system requirements lab site...don't use it as a replacement for actually knowing your system's specs in relation to the actual requirements.
This is what I get when I run it on my PC:
Looks like I can just barely run the game, right? Well, take a look at the breakdown; it tells a different story.
The ONLY thing I don't pass reccommended on is Video Card memory, which makes it a little hard to believe the bar would be that low. I know I can run Battlefield 3 on medium, so I'm not the least bit worried about being able to run Skyrim.Comment

I agree with bcruise, don't trust that site. I'm running BF3 on High settings, getting a constant 45-60FPS.

That site does not look at video Mem correctly most of the time. It also said I had 750mb when I have 3GB. It's a known issue on the site. It seems to use the same system as the windows exe (Can't remember the name of the program) that doesn't not read all the memory.Joshua:
