    Re: Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

My red guard never married, never owned a horse.....He was just a loner who never really cared about anybody but himself. I don't know man, it is like sometimes you can get on a roll in this game and before you know it, the game is over.

That is what happened to me. I had 10 more main story line quests to do yesterday. I said I will do just 2 of them. However some of them were so short I ran through 7 of them with ease and was like hmmmm, story is getting good, let me see what happens next, then boom I beat the game. I was like aweeeeeeee.

Grant it you can continue doing side quests and what not afterwards though.

Any way.....Some strange things I do just for the hell of it.

    1. Walk down rivers, like right down the middle of it. I'm telling you boy, when your health is low or you just walking and don't want to be bothered, walking down the center of the river is the safest spot to be. I literally walked from River Wood to White Run all in the river.

    2. I look behind every water fall just to see if it is a chest there.

    3. Climb a tall mountain and just look out at the land for a while, spot something in the distance and say hmm I'm going to walk over there and see whats what, it looks interesting.

    4. Most times I take short cuts up and over mountains. I learned most of the time you can hop your way up a mountain even though there is no road or path there. And you can jump your way down the side of a mountain too, as long as you aim for a rock that isn't too far down, you will cause very little damage to yourself.

    5. One time I was standing at the base of this water fall in the water and this assassin was trying to kill me. How ever he never left land, so he just stood there angry at the edge of the road. I killed him with my bow from the water. I felt like Rambo.

I'm thinking about getting married. Any suggestions on chicks? My my leading candidates are Lydia, Camelia Valerius, and Alea the Huntress. (Wild, crazed lycan sex!). Are there some better looking chicks I should go do some favors for?
i actually just got married. i married Ysolda. she lives in whiterun, and she opened a shop in our house after i married her and now i get 100 coins every day since i married a merchant. the side quest for her is pretty easy too, all you have to do is bring her a mammoths tusk which you can steal easily or just kill a mammoth if you find one.

So I've lost my first follower-Lydia. The two of us went in a Dunmer cave and she never came out. You definitely want to be careful if you use a follower as a mule. I also bought and furnished the house in Whiterun-my next move will be to get a horse. Horse question-can you fight from horseback?

You can't fight on horseback, although I wish if your in combat your guy would get off his horse faster.

Also, I was travelling West of Whiterun, and I thought I saw a lone mammoth just walking along. I pull out my bow, take aim and put a few arrows into his hide with an enchanted bow then pulled out my sword and went after him.

I brought it down to about half health then this giant club comes out of the side of my screen. Now it's me and Lydia against a Giant and 2 Mammoths. It was a hard battle, but I came out victorious and leveled up a few skills (and just a level up) to boot.

I wish when you give potions to your followers that they would actually drink them during battle.

Health, poison, whatever I just wish they'd use them in times of duress.

Me too. At least they will use a torch if you give them one. I lost count how many times my follower got burnt or poisoned because he set off a trap.

No fighting from horse back which is why I never bother with one. It's shame they don't let you at least shoot arrows or cast spells while riding....

                            RE that DB quest
                            Spoiler

I'm at level 50 and have 90 enchanting and 100 smithing but I haven't been upgrading those skill tree's as I have mostly been filling up sneak, conjuration, destruction and archery.

Hope it doesn't take me ages to get enough level perks to get the the ability to enchant two powers on one item and the light dragon armour perk as well....

Quick thing i noticed regarding smithing: It appears I can just get the 'smith magical items' perk and then anything I find regardless of material (ebony, Glass etc) I can then go enchant the item and take it back and smith it up to flawless without even having to unlock the ebony or glass perk. Pretty neat work around but I still can't make my own stuff though.

So I was at the College of Winterhold colecting some Deadra hearts, when this Elder Dragon decided to attack as I was leaving. I literally didn't do anything, just sat back and let the mages handle it, while I collected his bones and scales. Dumb Dragon.

Lol. Nah, not high maintenance but my girl is a boss. You gotta bring something to the table that she doesn't if you wanna piece of the pie. That's why I've been looking for a good mage. I killed the only one that could be married that I maybe have been satisfied with, that quest just ****ed me all up in the head (the cannibals).

J'Zargo is cool but he can't be married. Bretons, Imperials and Nords are out, even though I thought more than twice about Mjoll the Lioness in Riften. She has being a standard warrior going against her though, plus that weird stalker dude with her all the time. All the other Dunmer are old or ugly and there are no female khajiits able to be married.

So I just travel with J'Zargo now. It's strictly platonic but he's a good companion.
