Some seriously jaw-dropping moments in the second half, and especially towards the end. I would say the highs were higher in UC3, but UC2 was the more consistent and memorable experience overall. It's pretty close though.

I'm playing the game in 3D and it looks amazing.

I'm trying to take my time when playing the game. Checking every nook and cranny for treasure. Thought ive found every treasure up to the 8th chapter (where im currently at) Turns out ive missed at least 1 in each chapter. They really hid them good this year.

I'm playing on hard difficulty so i take full advantage of the stealth parts that i can.

          Thanks for the article rudy.

          I've definitely noticed this:
We also changed how the enemies move in Uncharted 3. Your foes can run faster to their desired position than in Uncharted 2, which changes the flow of gun combat as well, from what you were used to if you're coming off fresh from Uncharted 2.

I'm dying to play the game! On a business trip in Pittsburgh right now and am getting back home late tonight. Have Friday off since my birthday is Saturday and am planning on picking up the game and playing a TON this weekend.

Sounds like everyone is enjoying the game so far.

I really like the way they changed the treasures, having them be an actual object in the game rather than a generic glint.

People's issue is specifically the sluggishness of aiming. I eventually got used to it, and maxing sensitivity helped, but this video shows the difference between UC3 and UC2. This is only in single player. It's completely responsive in multiplayer.

                          Re: Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

I'm at Chapter 22 and have 9.5 hours logged into the game.

This game definitely has some huge ups. Chapters 17 and 19 had so many grand cinematic-like moments in them. It really made for some awesome gaming.

Although, with all the highs come a few lows, but they're not incredibly bad. The only problem(s) for me are how often the game throws in a movie-like progression for levels to unfold, and all of the "unrealistic" inhuman elements it throws at you.

Also, the story is just getting a little weird. It's cool, but again, when the movie portion of the game throws itself in front of the game's play too much (I'm not just talking about cutscenes and QTE's, but some other things that you'll run into), it's a bit perturbing.

I can't wait to finish this one! Though, I think I might be nearing its end.

Didn't notice much issue with the controls and gunplay until I took it to multiplayer...but I adjusted quickly enough though.

Eman, just finished the game myself. I clocked in at 9 hours and 47 minutes (though that can't be right, because it didn't take me under 20 minutes to finish the rest of the game... unless they don't factor in times when you die). Going to jump into multiplayer to see if gunplay truly is normal in that mode.

Will do Crushing some other time. I have MW3 and SR3 coming up the next two weeks, so I just had to make sure I got one playthrough good and over with.

                                Spoiler

A couple of other things I really liked about this game, as far as improvements over UC2 go. Grenade play is much, much better. The fact that the AI doesn't always throw it right where you are, plus the option that sometimes pops up for you to throw it back, is very boss. The hand combat was also a very, very nice step up in this game, especially since it was so prevalent. The different kinds of tactics implemented in this game (shooting up a scaled wall, swimming underwater), the new guns and countless chase/evade sequences, and just everything else was truly awesome. The gunplay needs work, but maybe they can patch that in if online play is just fine the way that it is.

Anyway, I hope everyone plays this through at least once and can finish it. It definitely played much, much shorter than UC2, but it was short and sweet while it lasted!
