Man, that Shepard pic almost makes me regret using the resources to fully heal the scars. I had to with my renegade fem-Shep (those deep scars and glowing eyes are horrifying) but I did the same thing with my regular guy too.

Oh well.

Oh don't get me wrong, it was a cool visual. I just thought it looked out of place...sure people would cower and follow Shepard that way, but man, I would think folks might try to backstab him/her. Plus, following someone talking about the "greatest threat to the galaxy" that looks like demon spawn and a major threat in their own right seems a difficult choice to make.

Then again, I guess that's the point. This evil bastard saved our lives twice, and yeah, she's scary beyond all reason (bonus points for the reference, LOL), but hey, who else do we believe!?

Ramble done...though I now ponder the scar question. Good thing I already warned my son I might not be able to make his birthday party this year due to ME3.

Commander Shepard has already saved the galaxy twice, but the final entry in the Mass Effect trilogy could be either the hero's last stand or finest hour. Some details:

• Game begins with Shepard on Earth. Shepard is on trial in regard to the events of Arrival. The Reapers invade while the trial is happening.
• Prologue: Shepard's escape to the Normandy, off to start finding allies, fighting Reaper troops.
• Squadmates include Liara, Ashley/Kaiden, Garrus (if he's alive), James Sanders (trailer?).
• Confirmed appearances (may not be squadmates): Wrex, Mordin, Legion, and Anderson.
• Game will show a "previously on Mass Effect" comic to make decisions if you're starting from scratch.
• The Illusive Man plays a big role. Cerberus is out to kill Shepard. Reason is unknown.
• Enhanced RPG elements: More freedom with character skills, larger skill trees, powers will evolve several times, mods returning - swap out different parts such as barrels, scopes (effect both the weapon's combat performance and its appearance).
• All classes can wield all weapons unhindered now. There will be limited slots to carry these weapons. Soldier can carry all weapons at once. Adept, Engineer, and Sentinel will likely be limited to two weapons, three for Vanguard and Infiltrator.
• Numerous endings. Who you have in your squad and which allies you recruit greatly impact the endings that are available
• No multiplayer

All that sounds great. Looks like they are adding back in more RPG elements. Can't wait man. Going through the first one again right now.

More RPG elements FTW. I hope that it is super robust. I'm looking forward to buying this first day. I wonder what deals the different stores will have on this. Might go the Amazon route.

After having a love interest with Ashley in the first game, I royally pissed her off when she was being such a bitch in the second game. Then I proceeded to chase after every available broad to spite her.

I wonder if we can make up in the third?
