Re: Mass Effect 3
I've taken Vega on the least missions so far. I normally never use a straight up soldier unless they are krogan for some reason. In ME1 after I built up the party, I ditched Ashley and always used Wrex. In ME2 I might have use Zaeed for one mission, but I used Grunt a lot.
I like having tech/biotic guys to go with my vanguard. Sometimes I don't even have to shoot in battle as a combo of overload, singularity, and my double biotic throw tears through the Cerberus guys.
SpoilerMet Kelly on the Citadel and she managed to take care of my fish and gave them back to me. Hope my new girl on the ship will feed them. I want to know where my space hamster went though.
The most impressive part of the game to me so far has been the sense of scope you get in battles. It's one thing to be fighting husks on a moon, but then when you look off in the distance and see giant reapers just laying into a planet it really looks amazing.
SpoilerGo to the kiosk near Barla Von on the Citadel and there is something that takes care of your fish. Expensive as hell though.
I'm with you on the soldier thing. I actually like my Shepard soldier, but that's because I know where I want to concentrate my power and the Adrenaline is a great power, but I hate soldier partners unless they are Grunt honestly.
I also loved the background on Pavalen's moon. Spectacular site. No idea why some people were saying the graphics were bad other than just to troll. (not here, but elsewhere)
I'm using my Infiltrator right now, and I have to say that I am a lot happier with him in this game than ME2. I liked him in ME2, but I never really had too much of a reason to use the special cloaking power. Glad they added more levels to each power. I need a bonus power though, think I'm going to go with the energy drain.
Edit: And one other thing, I am absolutely loving blowing these people into little bitty pieces with my Sniper Rifle. Let Liara hit them with a Singularity and then I'll blow their head off. Good times. Also glad Singularity doesn't take forever to recharge now.Last edited by TracerBullet; 03-08-2012, 03:07 AM.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

Hell yes. I use that same tactic, or I'll let Liara hit them with Stasis to keep them nice and still for me. Seeing the little achievement tracker pop up when I shoot through a guard's eye slot gives a really good feeling as well.PS: You guys are great.

Re: Mass Effect 3
Really should have gone with the PC version. I haven't done much of anything and I'm already swapping discs. Oh and it is HARD getting disc two out. Feels likes I'm gonna break it.PS: You guys are great.

After getting both discs out of the CE case, I decided to barely out it back on the holder. Enough to keep it in place, but make it easier to take out.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

I only use 1 weapon as a Sentinel now, an Assault rifle(1 weapon so I can get the +200% cooldown bonus). never ran out of ammo since I mostly use biotic and/or tech powers. I find the Tech Armor not very useful at all in ME3 though(it was the opposite in ME2, it was overpowered), they really lowered it. I'll probably respec it out and just use the points on powers.Comment

Re: Mass Effect 3
not a fan of buying the Dragon Scale armor or whatever
I mean, I like the upgrade system and what not, but come on.
I'll just stick to my Navy/Carolina Blue and Black/Purple N7 armor. And may thy spirit live in us, Forever LSU

I usually make my armor the color of who I'm rolling with. I wore black/white/orange N7 armor in ME2 and now I'm going with black/blue N7 armor. I refuse to wear any of the other one piece armors.Michigan WolverinesChicago White SoxComment

Re: Mass Effect 3
do the one piece armor still force you to have a helmet on at all times, even during conversations?(I don't mean in low oxygen places)Comment
