I just think the idea people are putting in money to try and get something is hilarious... it makes you wonder sometimes about how "crazy" people are when something they love so much doesn't fit all of their needs.

I did, but I only did it in January of this year. That's how unnecessary I felt it was. And the arrival? What a waste.

That was the big plot point, not the Shadow Broker. Without it, ME3 starts off in a direction that completely makes no sense.

OK...I still haven't beat it, but I'm curious as to what I'm in for:

I finished Horizon, Miranda lives, I'm pretty much all paragon, my green bar is full, I'm at 54% multiplayer/readiness, and my bottom number is around 3400.

Am I good, or will I see this horrible ending everyone is talking about?

way too many inconsistencies and weird things for it to not be an illusion/indoctrination. Pretty sure it was with all the screen effects and sound effects that were being used during the whole ending with Anderson and Illusive man. and then it was some how a renegade option to "save" Anderson. I definatly go with the indoctrination theory for now.

obviously chose to destroy(that has been the goal since ME1). joker somehow gets away from the Sol system after the mass relay gets destroyed and ends up on some unknown planet/moon with Ashley and Javik(not sure how they got back aboard the Normandy to begin with).

overall, great game. but like most people, ending didn't live up to the rest of the series and was more disappointing than anything.

It's that guy's opinion but it seems rather worthless. Maybe Bioware and EA were hoping for more gamers like that guy who would just take the ending as is and not question anything.

Again, I have yet to see this ending but after reading everything the last couple of days, it feels like I experienced it already like most of the rest of you.

Exactly, his opinion was worthless. His advice was basically to stop thinking about it because thinking about it makes you not like it. Man I wish there was a way to leave comments there.

I have to admit that I do find people being super upset that the ending may be DLC kinda funny. I mean, one of the biggest storylines in ME 2 was DLC. Doesn't make it right (or wrong depending how you want to look at it), but is it really all that surprising at this point?.

The Arrival in ME2 wasn't the ending, it was a segue to ME3. That's completely different than shipping a game that supposedly ends the story, then making the fanbase pay again for the real ending. That is definitely wrong.

That video pretty much sums up my whole feeling about the ending and the suppose to be 16 different endings. I really feel like I was Soprano'ed. The ending DEFIES the over all theme of the whole series.

It's nothing announced, and no one is saying it will happen. It's all just a hypothetical situation. A lot of people are calling for Bioware to release a "real" ending. I'm just saying if they do release a "real" ending and try to charge for it, that's bull****.

Indeed. But I'm fine with it. If it means more Mass Effect, then I'm good. I'm not terribly happy about the ending, but definitely not anywhere near as upset as most people are. I still want more.

People are saying alllll the endings are horrible. In your case...

you'll have a choice for all 3 but you need 4000 to get the best.

And on an unrelated note to that but still about the endings...

control is the worst one. I used my throw away character,only did one sidequest and that was by accident,Grunt was left in the tank,Legion was sold to Cerberus (which btw didn't matter,he still helped but there was a Legion VI to face during one of the missions) everyone but Garrus,Miranda and Kasumi were dead. No scanning. Only had 1000 extra assets from that being my test save for editing. Had T.I.M shoot Anderson then shoot T.I.M and the only option was control. Earth not destroyed though so that was bit odd.

It only took 7 and a half hours and I only talked to Ashley and Miranda.

Though by far the best part and also best interupt of either playthrough was...

killing Wrex. He didn't even get a shot off and Bailey says "Just another mess to clean up. Tell them another corpse is incoming,too big for a coffin,we'll have to space this one." He was so intent on going out like a boss and goes out like a total bitch instead.
