Pretty much came in to post this. 4th ME2 runthrough stopped as well. The way things ended killed the series (trilogy) for me.Comment

Re: Mass Effect 3
I'm different with this game in the sense that even after the ending I want to go back and play all the way through from ME1 again. People say "my decisions didn't make a difference" but that's not true. The whole third game is shaped by decisions you made earlier in the series and I want to do it a different way this time.NHL: Vegas Golden Knights

NFL: Minnesota Vikings

Re: Mass Effect 3
I finished the game last night and everything up to the ending was awesome. Some of the best production values this generation. I did dislike the annoying Brute's and Banshee's throughout the game.
I expected a lot more for the ending, it left me very confused.
SpoilerI did not care for Kie Leng at all, it's like Raiden's long lost brother is making an appearance in the ME universe.Comment

The decision to let the Racni Queen live or die doesnt matter(a queen is there no matter what). The decision to keep the collector base has like a 5 or 10 difference in war assests whether you keep it or destroy it and its not a big part of the 3rd story. If you kill legion in the 2nd one, another one appears, but his name isnt legion, he looks the same though. Regardless if you put Anderson on the council, he gets flipped to general with no explanation to why Udina is on the council and Anderson isnt(unless you read the codex, which keeps a brief reason why). If you let the council die in the first one, another one just gets put in place but you dont get to see them in mass effect 2. Killing Wrex in the first one makes a difference, but not much(his brother Wreav just takes his place but the story hardly changes). You really dont "shape" the universe like Bioware claimed.

SpoilerI never noticed most of those things due to the choices I made in the previous games. The only one I did notice was Anderson not being part of the council.
Was this ever explained in DLC or at the beginning of ME3?Comment

I don't see a problem with it. If you didn't know Kei Leng's "story," you can tell just from ME3 that he's TIMs top assassin and he's sending K.L. to get the info you're after. What else do you really need to know?Comment
