Right before going to the Cerberus base..should have all available characters stories closed out by that point, making them available for the DLC (provided they're alive).

Not sure if anyone mentioned it in here but on the mars mission make sure you have a weapon that has more than 1-3 shots per clip. When you have to kill Eva in slow motion it goes by the amount of times you hit her and you don't have enough time to reload.

Had to replay about 30 minutes of gameplay because I only had the Executioner pistol with me.
            NHL: Vegas Golden Knights
            NCAAF: Ohio State
            NFL: Minnesota Vikings

Just beat ME2 for the second time, and now I'm ready for ME3!!

But I'm kind of overwhelmed with all the DLC. Having played ME2 with all the DLC, I preferred downloading all of it before starting my playthrough, as it really added to the story.

Couple quick questions, NO SPOILERS PLEASE:
              • what does the ME3 disc-based game come with in terms of DLC?
              • what weapons do you have to purchase that are killer in the game, and can't be gotten any other way?
              • The extended cut ending, and the ME2 reunion one (I think it's the Citadel DLC) ... should I hold of on those specifically?
I spent over 80 hours on ME2, so want to get the absolute most out of the final game. All ears ...

Unless you have a collector's edition, the game comes with no DLC. I'd recommend From Ashes, Leviathan, and DEFINITELY Citadel for the paid DLC and the Extended Cut because its free and makes the endings a lot better. Omega is blah, take it or leave it. You don't need to buy any weapons. There are a ton in-game and in the DLC.

The game does come with an online code. Doesn't sound like that is your thing but the multiplayer is a fun little coop hoard mode if you are interested. lots of customization and character options.
I'd sayngetball the DLC if you can swing it. If you put 80 hours in ME2 I'd say go all in.

ME3 MP is the only game MP game I play online. The online code however isn't DLC. All the MP DLC is free anyway so I would expect anyone who plans on playing it to get it by default. It's also irrelevant to the story. My suggestions were for the SP portion of ME3.

Just did the math ... $50 freakin bucks to get all the single-player story stuff. I'm already jonesing for the Citadel reunion with Miranda and company, too.

Finally putting sufficient time into my first play through. Blasted through 1 and 2 twice but for some reason put this off. Didn't really get into in the first 5 or so hours but am 12 hours in and absolutely loving it. Already planning my renegade Shep play next.

I thought the first 2 hours of the game were unfreakinreal.

I think the World at War concept might be an adjustment for me, because I'm not a huge multi-player, but I am a bit of a completionist and want to wage my final fight with every advantage. Is that a major part of the puzzle (no story spoilers, please!!)?

You can get the hardest ending without a lick of multiplayer IF you do everything in the game. Multiplayer only makes it easier to obtain that ending and allows you to skip stuff if you want.

I'm not a huge MP guy, but the MP was fun because it's all co-op and only 4 people. That made it easy for me to get a friend or a brother on and play with them for a while. You get far fewer jerks on MP when you're all on the same team (and you don't need to talk to them).
?The Bulgarian Brothers - a story of two brothers (Oggy and Dinko) as they coach in the NCAA and the NBA.

?Ask me about the Xbox Ally handheld - I'm on the team that made it.

I found this to be the case exactly, to a "T" as well.
