Capcom announced the update coming in mid-December will offer camera options. They showed the picture below as an example - top photo is the current camera angle, bottom photo is what you can change it to if you'd like.

I might snag it again then.

Right now, it's unbearable.

I was feeling the same way about the camera. Then my daughter ran through all 3 campaigns and kept telling me that the camera is not that bad.

I decided to jump in and play it, and at first I was not liking it, so I did 3 things and everything felt fine.

I made the game brighter, made camera speed at 7 and aiming speed at 7.

In about a hour of playing I got use to it and it wasn't a problem any longer. I will admit the new camera coming looks much better, but if you play this game long enough you will get use to it.

I just beat the Leon campaign, and I was not prepared to enjoy the game that much. Well let me tell you I was hooked!!!!!!!!!! I did not expect for me to enjoy the game at the magnitude I did.

I give the Leon campaign a 10. I don't personally score games on the technical aspects of it
I score a game on the fun Factor alone. My fun factor meter on the Leon campaign was a 10.

I loved it!!!!!!!!! Right now I'm diving into the Chris campaign and hoping it does the same for me as the Leon campaign.

Playing it on professional. Its not hard trust me.

Just picked this up along with a buddy of mine. We're going to go through the campaign together online. We were waiting for a price drop before we picked it up and I have to say I'm enjoying it more than I expected. We started off with Leons campaign and just got done with the first chapter. I need to get used to it though my buddy was saving my butt a lot lol. Between this and black ops 2 our time will be filled pretty nicely.

Snagged this for half price on EBay. Played every (main) game in the series and even still have my Resident Evil 2 and Code Veronica Dreamcast versions. Looking forward to trying it.

Resident Evil 6: 3 modes (DLC) & free update (camera, No Hope Left) Dec 18th

The first wave of add-on content for Resident Evil 6 is coming as a timed console exclusive for Xbox 360 on December 18th. This content consists of three new multiplayer modes--Predator, Survivors and Onslaught--each of which will be priced at 320 Microsoft Points, or as a value bundle for 720 MSP.

On top of this, there will also be a free, hefty title update for both PS3 and Xbox 360 with the following features:

-A new option allowing players to adust the in-game camera to get a greater field of view
-A new option allowing you to combine English language audio with subtitles in other languages
-An optional, player-controlled co-op partner for the Ada campaign
-The extremely challenging No Hope Left difficulty mode

I got this game back in October and haven't done anything besides the prologue because my work schedule & school. Now that I'm out of school for a month, time to get some play time with this game.

Resident Evil 6: 3 modes (DLC) & free update (camera, No Hope Left) Dec 18th

Ignore my last post. I asked before I looked. Beauty, the 18th it is! The new camera option will be most welcomed. I like the atmosphere and the setting in RE6 but the standard camera makes me feel a bit sea sick.

Well the update is out and the new settings for the camera work great. Set it to 15 on both settings and you will be rocking RE6 with absolutely no problem in regards to the camera. It looks perfect.

I had the opportunity to DL this today but forgot to bring my Xbox to my brothers house. Will have a chance again in the next few days. Eager to rip into it.

If the camera was the only thing holding you back then you will be in a good place, because the camera works very well now.

I'm trying to finish Ada's campaign then I want to get infinite ammo and go buck wild in the game all over again lol.

Just got the patch! Locked 15's on both and things are nice.

Yes I love it now. I feel like I can breathe again lol. I finished all the campaigns and bought infinite ammo for the Magnum Iam mowing them down lol.

Question about switching campaigns.

I read somewhere that it's best to start with Jake, and then switch over to Leon. The online guide said play the first 2 chapters of Jake, and then the first 2 of Leon.

How do you actually do that? Just exit out of the Jake series after the first 2, and go into Chapter Select?

Seems a bit goofy, but if that's how you pull it off, I think I played Jake Chapter 3 half way through in vein.
