The other thing that will change the game for FPS's is dedicated servers. I do not know if that is realistic or not, but it needs to happen.

I liked how in Rainbow 6..the original gem for old Xbox..you could set up a device to do that. I always thought it was pretty awesome.

I don't know about an animation playing out for a stealth kill, but maybe a two-button command or something to execute it.

They do need to change the knifing while being shot. No way that happens IRL.

I'd like to see the knife get replaced by an animation of you slapping someone with the butt of your gun. Then in doing this, they stumble back and you get a small window of time to press the button one more time to stab them as they fall.

To make it dramatic, you can be shot and killed at any point during the animations. That way you can be an inch from being stabbed and then the guy is shot right as you see the knife about to enter your chest. Imagine how awesome that would be. The CoD franchise loves action and drama, and well, thats as BA as it gets right there for a knife.

The stealth kill animation only kicks in when you choose to do so, other than that you will get your normal stab animation, so you can keep it moving if you like. I just want that if you being hit by gun fire, the whole stabbing actions gets disabled, and you can only execute a stab when you are not being hit by gun fire.

Making the whole stabbing scenario more realistic.

I say options for stab kills would be nice like the one I mentioned above, and like the one mentioned below. The one below sounds great when playing SnD , and its the final kill.

They should have a realistic stabbing animation in the game where you actually bring the knife up and them thrust it into your enemy (see Battlefield's knife animation). I think that would eliminate the whole run through bullets and knife people thing that happens.

Agreed. The whole swiping the knife and getting the kills is weak. It doesnt feel like I stab him. Now actually driving the knife into the body of the vicitm, and seeing it go in and then having to pull it out. Now thats feeling like I stabbed someone.

The first Guitar Hero was made by a combination of Red Octane and Harmonix (founded in 1995). Activision then bought Red Octane to continue Guitar Hero, and Harmonix was purchased by Viacom.

I thought Red Octane was just the company that made the hardware for the Guitar Hero games. Could be wrong though.

Looking at Wikipedia it was a partnership, and they published at least the first one before Activision bought them.

The way I see it Activision will fail with this project. Paying 10 bucks a month on top of paying for the game and already paying a monthly fee for xbox live. They fail with this. They better come up with way better offers then this right now for them to get me to buy it. So far to me this looks like a version of a free halo waypoint that is on xbox live. They say more info to come. So we will see what this service has to offer us true hardcore fans. Stay tuned that is what all I can say.

I agree totally with you. I love MW serias along with Madden and NCAA football. I also respect both Activision and EA. But them trying to milk every dime out of fans for their monthly service is not going work. People are already paying for the game and if you are on xbox live. You are also paying for live aswell. Both companies and any other company that try this samething that even the hardcore fans ain't going pay for something like this. This is just going way to fair. I will wait and hold judgement until they release all the info on it. For now it just seems to me that this both companies are just wasting their time with this.

Bungie offers ridiculously deep stats on their webpage for their games for free. I'll pass on this, but at least they aren't charging to play the game.
