Funny how these videos that are trying to down play MW3 are springing up. I wonder when the BF3 version will hit?

I personally think both games will do a great job, and both big a different gameplay feel. Which is great for us gamers. I really think gamers should purchse both if they can.

Im only loyal to good games, not a company. Being loyal you whind up hurting yourself.

I have no desire to play BF3 and it has nothing with loyalty. I just hate the way Dice-made games feel. I also don't like vehicles, destructible environments, or the emphasis on teamwork.

There really isn't a need for 2 games when I can easily put 400 to 500 hours into one.

If both end been as good as they seem to be, then I can easily end playing over 500 hrs on both ... I am a COD fan myself but I have always found that the series has always missed that teamwork approach (doesnt really takes away of the game, but still) ... been honest, that is why I play alot with my country men, we compensate the games lack of teamwork orientation by using our bluetooh ... and we oftenly rock due to our collaboration approach.

Anyways, you cant seem to fail by picking them both, if you have the need for excellent FPS with a different approach/feel.

My biggest beef(s) with CoD since MW1:

*The knife- It is the most powerful thing in the game. It really has always ticked me off when you shoot someone and they run straight at you eating bullets just to knife you. Especially the lunge. I have always been a firm believer of either being staggered back when you get hit, having the knife be a actual piece of equipment or Perk. People always say to me that if you do that then some people wont have a Melee attack. Not true just have them hit you with the gun. Full health without the Knife should take 2-3 hits to kill.

*The Speed- The game just seems like to me that everyone 90% of the time are just running arround ******** looking without any momentum at all. Especially when people sprint and then stop on a dime just to aim down the site and peg you with in 2 seconds.

*Quick Scoping- I was so glad the way Black Ops stopped it but however they really never released a map that was sniper friendly. Like really open wooded area map or something with a field that you will have to be caughtous to cross.

*Weapons- Every CoD game that I could think of has had a weapon that has just been to rediculis. MW1 had M16, World at War had MP40, MW2 had Models, Black Ops had the AK74u.

I played CoD a lot but these complaint always seem to make the game stale to me after like 2 months.

^ I wholeheartedly agree on the knife being a Perk/equipment situation, panic knifing is just unacceptable. As for "OP" weapons I do hope they don't have the FAMAS/AK74U situation in MW3 but there will be guns where it'll be used by most players and there is just no denying that.

Of all the crazy dumb things that have been in COD, nothing is as awful as the knife. Thing makes no sense at all.

I can see why they did it (presumably to allow people to do stealth kills from behind etc) but it's way over powered and works at all angles. If they made it so it was only a 1 hit kill in very specific situations (like a clean 1 on 1 kill from behind where the other person was stationary for example) then for all other situations it was 3 or 4 hit kill that would go a long way to improving it you would think.

The worst is when someone knifes you when they aren't even facing you, I don't know if it is lag but when someone knifes you from a side angle it's just infuriating.

I agree that the knife shouldn't be a 1 hit kill why reward people who run around the map aimlessly and are able to get instant close range kill just by instinctively hitting 1 button.. and the range in mw2 was ridiculous with the lunging (even without Commando) thankfully Black Ops toned it down a bit.

I like the idea of having the knife as a secondary weapon, and having to have it out to use it. That way, you can see people who have it by the way they are running and will have no gun in their hands.

Also, the gunners (not sure what else to call us) should have a 3-4 hit kill with their melee. But, the hit should not stun the other player. It should take damage away, that is all.

Yeah, the knife pulling out thing was in Bad Company 1, but it looks like they are bringing it back for Battlefield 3. Anyway, I remember hearing from Robert Bowling or something like a knife to the front will do some damage but not totally kill him while a knife to the back will always be a kill.

I know this won't be notable for some people, but I noticed the new One World Trade Center in the New York trailer.. It's not complete yet, but it's clearly visible. It's circled in the pic below (I threw it together in photoshop really quickly..)

So obviously, it is the One World Trade Center.. Now I really hope Infinity Ward isn't stupid and they just leave it alone.. If that building get's damaged at all, people in the US will not take it well..

Hopefully it is the Russians base of operations and you have to fly a jet into it to take them out.
