Yeah I don't know if I should go to the Midnight release or not, there's a Gamestop literally 5 minutes by my house.. but it's going to be Cold and I don't know how long the lines are, and how long it will take me to actually get it.

I'll probably just get my sleep and get it tomorrow.

For me the convenience is worth it...and I usually wait until I get 30% or more trade in value (Gamestop does deals pretty regularly) that make me a good amount on my games. That being said, I end up having it for at least 3 to 6 months before selling, I don't sell a week after buying.

Same here. PU member PLUS multiple trades give extra and I also wait for the promotions like extra 30% etc...
Get equivalent amount of money with no hassles.
and like you I don't sell right away.

Just talked to a friend who is trying to get this game and he said he went to 2 Gamestops and Walmart and both already had lines...5 hours before release...thats crazy. Mine shipped from Gamefly..so i'll keep it for 35$ Bought BF3 for 20...works for me

Yep. About an hour ago my daughter called me and said there was already a line at one of our stores.

Neither am I. It just (finally) snowed over here last night and I hate midnight releases. Not to mention I'm not even 100% sold on this game.

To be honest I think I might just get the "other" game if I need my shooting fix.

Currently messing around with the COD Elite and gotta say this is a neat feature. All the info you need about your Career/stats is all here. Even gives you a layout of the maps and talks about how to best navigate each map. Talks about every weapon Primary/Secondary.

Major Props on this feature

Currently over 147,000 players are on the leaderboards. Gonna be an insane night

I think the elite thing is stupid. I mean every other game includes it with their game for free. Halo, Battlefield, etc. The DLC with elite seems like a good deal though so I guess it ballances out.

I've seen a couple posts saying that Infinity Ward didn't design the multiplayer... Not true at all. Call of Duty is Infinity Ward's creation and there is no way that they're just going to give it up to Sledgehammer when they have a choice. Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer co-designed and they only did that because half of Infinity Ward left and created Respawn Video Games.

Elite is free.

The extra stuff costs money, just like Bungie Pro, but that includes all the DLC.

It's no real difference than the season pass and since COD map packs have been $60 a year, it's a $10-20 savings at least, depending in if you buy Hardened or just Elite.
