Re: ARMA III
Good job last night guys. I was coaching my buddy through the controls and he seemed to catch on pretty quick. The inventory system got him twisted up the most and how to interact with things with the mouse wheel. Other than that, the mission went pretty good....................other than Jason running his boat on ground LMAO.Comment

Re: ARMA III
So I'm going to start work on a small 4 vs 4 PvP mission. Tell me what you guys think.
1 team of 4 insurgents are tasked with defending a hostage. They will spawn in a small village around the hostage.
1 team of 4 special forces guys are tasked with killing the insurgents to save the hostages. They will have a dozen or more random/different spawn point possibilities. This way the insurgents don't know what direction to expect the assault.
This should supply some pretty cool gun fights because you won't be able to peak out without much fear. Human opponents will fire with more precise accuracy and use hiding & moving into positions more effectively.
We have a group of 7 to 8 which play often so we should be able to make this happen. If this turns out to be a good time, I have some ideas to expand the size a little bit while making it fun for everyone, plus keeping the PvP.Comment

Re: ARMA III
I'm up for anything the group wants, but I would like to see more coop missions with multiple objectives where we can split off in two larger groups and then combine near the end to complete it all. Much like we have done in the past week or so. Have not had as much fun in a game like this since the original Ghost Recon on the Xbox.Comment

Re: ARMA III
I really hope for Arma 4 alot of this mod stuff be standard within the game. Especially these AI mods. I wish somebody would make a snow mod. I would love to make some snow missions when it is snowing and you see the breathe of the soldiers in the cold air.Comment

Re: ARMA III
ACE 3 had a multiplayer memory leak that only affected locally hosted online games. Your frames would go from 60+ then would slowly decrease over 10 min or so until you were only getting 1 frame per second.
This did not affect dedicated servers and was the big reason on me not including it yet. If it has been fixed then it is a 100% add. We just need to make sure its working correctly online, other wise a horrible experience will follow for the server host.Last edited by Phobia; 06-03-2015, 04:49 PM.Comment

Re: ARMA III
Disregard my comment about ACE 3 and ASR AI conflicting with one another. At least for now, they have not implemented the AI changes yet in ACe 3.Comment
