My only beef is occasionally with 'kill X number of ....', there sometimes aren't enough of the baddies in the designated area to kill. I wind up having to go to another mission, then come back later after everything has respawned to finish the first mission.

I know it happened on the mission where you wind up naming the 'bonerfarts' (). I drove to all areas to kill the allotted number of them, and there still weren't enough until I came back later.

So I accidently used my Golden Keys and I am pretty ticked off about it.

I did the same thing. Turn a corner, "ooh a chest", :: open ::, golden key pops up and goes from one to zero,

Although the weapons were fairly mediocre compared to what I had on me so I don't think waiting would have been some major coup.

I am thinking about purchasing Borderlands 2, but I will probably only play it offline, do you think it would still be worth it?

You'll be fine solo. I played the first one by myself, as did my brother and wife. All three of us are playing through this one solo as well.

I'm not much of an online gamer at all and I still love this game. I have more fun wandering around at my own pace doing my own thing.

The first one me and my good friend played split screen but due to being in the military we have moved on with our jobs so ill be going solo on this one.

Actually most of the time you don't have to go to the area they say. For example a mission about killing skags you can go to any skags infested place instead of the zones it tells you to go to.

One came as a pre-order bonus. Also, like I mentioned earlier, you can also get one for signing up for Gearbox Software Shift.

They'll supposedly be given out by gearbox through events or giveaways.


On a different note. I was hitting the slots at Moxxi's....

and got three vault symbols! Out popped a legendary shotgun, Well Kept Striker. This thing absolutely RAPES. It's got a real tight spread with a scope, 85 accuracy, 7 projectiles, +72% crit rate.

But so does all the other loot, if I open the chest and nothing even sniffs at what I'm carrying, I find it hard to believe that trend isn't going to continue.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this but, when in Sanctuary find a guy named Micheal Mamaril, he finds weapons for you. Just press x to talk to him and he will tell you he has something for you and give you a weapon. I ran into him in Marcus Kincaid's shop, but he appears to be in random places.

Ever since this was posted, I've checked Sanctuary for this guy every time I'm there and have yet to see him. He's just never there, kind of pissing me off.

Are you on PC? I've heard that he doesn't show up on the PC version. If you are on 360 or PS3, there are certain places that he will show up. There's quite a few, and a couple are pretty hidden.

Also, if anyone is around level 14, I have a BUNCH of blue guns I'm looking to get rid of that are all the level 14 requirement. Trying to get blue/purple shields or class mods around the same level.

1. Yeah but everything in that chest is Blue or higher. Also there are certain legendary items that only appear in that chest.

2. On PC he is super super super rare to find. On consoles he is fairly common.

Always play the slots, I have hit vault symbols once, 3 bar eridium twice and regular eridium multiple times. Hit Marcus once as well.

Guess who I find the very next time I boot up the game? It also must have been a very lucky spawn of Sanctuary, I found a bunch of salable loot as well as eridium, then played the slots and not only got a shotgun better than what I carry, but I hit the eridium jackpot not once but twice. To top it all off, once I sold off all the slots crap I ended up making money, a first for me evenm though I am constantly throwing a couple grand at the slots every Sanctuary trip, and that's not counting all the eridium and the one skin I unlocked. I got to say it was a good day.....until windows update rebooted on me right before I hit the last checkpoint in a mission.

Yeah this is one of the few FPS PC games that I use my wireless 360 controller with and run it through my 52'' plasma TV.
