Has anyone gotten a jackpot on the slot machines yet (3 BL logos)? I've put in about 750k and still have yet to get the illusive jackpot.

No, but I have hit a ton of the eridium jackpots, enough to max my inventory and my main gun ammo (SMG, sniper, rocket, shotgun).

I got a golden key from my amazon pre-order and read that i can get another one for signing up with shift. i thought you can only open the chest once, no?

currently playing as level 11 Siren. i like her power alot. what are ur guys strategy for guns? I just went through a bunch of bosses and got alot of blue guns.

You can open it up as many times as you want as long as you have keys.

A bunch of bosses at level 11? I don't remember facing that many by then. Anyway, my strategy for guns is to use the best one I've got, depending on range, and use the element that the mob I'm facing is weak against.

I spent well over an hour and $400k last night on the slots and finally hit it. It gave me a legendary (orange) assault rifle that does like 347 damage with a 14.7 fire rate and a magazine size of 87. It's level 24 so I can't use it yet unfortunately as I just hit 23.

That's what it sounds like to me. The code will be active for 4 hours or something and as long as you get it in it should work.

If anyone is on the fence about getting this game I say definitely go for it. I'm about half way through the game at level 26 (chapter 14 I think) and I have been having an absolute blast. I have been doing almost all of the side missions so I have around 25 hours in so far. I'm on the PC version with all settings maxed and the game looks and runs awesome. I'm already looking forward to my second play through with a different character.

Well worth the purchase price in my opinion !

Thank goodness. I have approximately 30-60 minutes left on my installation download of BL2 through Steam.

The loot whore in me wants to open that box every time I run by it. Which is a lot.
