Damn GMSS, the console version seems so different than the PC version. It is not like that for me on the PC. The graphics are pretty damn solid. The pistols take 1 shot 90% of the time chest height and higher. Rarely I get the 2 to 3 shots it takes to drop a guy if I shot from range and in the body. Also have never had a trip mine or any "tools" not work.
Oh and the multiplayer is SWEET!!!!!!!!! Even has the slow mo bullet cam!! My first two games in death match I finished #1
Take my time and get to a high location, set trip mines, and land mines covering anyone from coming up behind me. Then go to work!!
I am loving the game so far, I am not 100% sure how far I am. I just got finished sneaking into the German AA facility. I give it 8.0 outta 10.Last edited by Phobia; 05-07-2012, 09:23 AM.Comment

I can't shoot for ****. I'm playing on Elite right now and I'm wasting a ton of bullets trying to take out enemies. I rarely take out guys with the first shot. I wish they would've had some sort of video that talked about how best to aim your shots. I'll figure it out though.Comment

I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

I must say, the further along you are in the game, the harder it gets but yet the more open world and awesome it gets as well. Being in a burned out city with a team of snipers every where on the roof tops and street patrols on the ground is just AWESOME.Comment

coop has made it fun ... "3,2,1, pull!"
but I have some major gripes.
1) Can I please get the opportunity to snipe someone from like 600 meters away?? please?!?!? most enemies are about 120 meters away, and you get the odd 200-230m ... why? They should have some VERY long distance levels, or even a target range to see how good you are at 800m away and score you for 1 magazine or somethng like that.
The descriptions even say "effective range 800m" and so on... but you NEVER get that chance for long distances
2) Coop number of levels and more importantly DESIGN. This is a sniper game, yet in MP aside from one level it puts you and your buddy in the middle and enemies come from all sides and mostly close quarters ... why????? I want to SNIPE from a vantage point, it's utterly ridiculous and if you try and force going to a vantage point...enemies spawn right behind you.
The bomb run level I played also puts you at extreme close distances, it's so infuriating they designed it that way. The made a sniper game, yet make distance shots the most rare type in the game!!!
SE1 was a better more methodical experience - this has way more enemies rushing you and ultimately getting way too close killing a lot of the experience
I AM having fun, but it could have been so much better. I don't regret buying it, but there are major head-scratching moments about the game design. Not to mention enemy eagle eyes... with them having no optical aids at all, they shouldn't be able to see you at all moving in a building 200m away them in the sun you in the shadows, let alone crawling at a snails pace.
Having bought the first sniper ghost warrior, I'm not betting #2 will best either game and get it 'right' either. One bright spot is the sales because of the demo might be higher than expected, yet this may cause them to attribute it to the wrong reasons and make another close-quarters "sniper" game. I was taking out enemies with regularity in MP CoD4 at greater distances.Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment

Just beat the game, what an awesome ride that was. The last mission was awesome. Easily hands down the LONGEST SHOT in the game. 505 games did a good job for a small company.Comment

Even with the shooting issues this game is really enjoyable play. Has there ever been talk of DLC for this game?I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. New Features/Content:
- 2 new Multiplayer maps available for DM and TDM:
* Coast
* Graves
- Command Line Options added to fix/diagnose/workaround various issues customers are having:
* "-nosound" - disables all sound.
* "-novid" - disables all movie playback.
* "-60hz" - should now clamp to 60Hz in all cases.
* "-RV6xx" - for older ATI chipsets (for example, Radeon HD 3650) as a workaround for a driver crash in some areas (such as Facility - level 3).
- New server option: Headshot Only (AKA: Power 10)
- New server option: Sudden Death
- New server option: Team Autobalancing
- Voice-comms mute via the console ("Voice.Mute" and "Voice.UnMute" with a substring of player name).
- Console available on Ctrl-Tab as well as the grave key for non-US-English keyboard configurations.
