Just played the demo on the pc. I'm so dissappointed. Corridor shooter with x ray kill cam. Regen health, linear, dumb ai, hints everywhere. I LOVED sniper elite and I'm so bummed that this is the direction they took the series.

I guess the x ray kill cam is cool but its going to get old fast.

Game looks great on PC but I was left wanting a little more. I'm still 50/50 on this game.

The "Kill Hitler" DLC is a nice bonus. I can see myself playing that mission over and over. Very cool.

Maybe you should get this one again and practice a bit before the game is released...

lol 20 years ago that was a huge deal! Even my Dad played Wolfenstein and when he first saw Hilter he paniced. That was one of the only games my Dad ever played (and beat) and I think he played it because he could kill Hitler.

Lol, the games I remember my dad playing were Doom and Diablo 1. Man he loved them both, he even played Doom on the XBLA with me and my bro. He also loved GRAW.

Doom was the other one! I got an Atari Jaguar when it was released and my Dad slowly started to play more and more. I've never seen him play a game since but for about a year my Dad was a gamer.

P.S. A few people on other forums have said that the Kill Hitler DLC is in poor taste. Does anyone remember a game called JFK: Reloaded? It was probably one of the darkest steps a videogame developer has ever taken.

To this day I still don't know how I feel about it.

1st 15min gameplay - so it's a bit of a spoiler, but I don't care - watch at your own discretion.

Eagle eyes look a bit toned down from the first little bit - but the dude is playing on super easy - there is no bullet drop or wind for him at all and he sprints around and takes some damage.

One complaint I had about SE1 was that you didn't get a lot of LONG shots, there were loads of mid-range, but so many kills I remember being at 60m and so on - This one seems like the average is over 100m

The level seems pretty controlled however it is the first one, and I bet they mix up levels to add variety making some more like a shooting gallery and others quiet and careful.

The game was supposed to be out today but no one has a straight answer as to way it's not. Someone screwed up.

No one can give a straight answer not even the game's website, it says Out now! Someone screwed up and it might just cost them a bit of money. No excuse for changing it at the last minute.

I was just at GS and the guy showed me on his screen that it comes in next Tuesday. Amazon shows 1-4 weeks?

The GS site showed 5/1 @1030, 5/8 @1130, and now says 5/2.

The ball was dropped by someone. I've canceled my pre order cause the GS person was being rude and pissy with me. I'd just like a straight answer from someone on this freaking game.
