Yeah...basically what I've read is that you have to follow the path they want you to. As opposed to giving you the option to go to different rooftops, go completely different ways to get to an objective, etc.

Sounds like they spawn enemies at certain times too (to keep things interesting), but kinda goes against the idea that you could stealthily kill everyone and move on.

Not knocking the game (I'll pick it up used), but just that it's more lone wolf sniper action from all reviews I've read, not a great sniper sim or something.

This game comes with an actual physical instruction manual that is 13 pages long. Color me impress.

There is a manual for this game?

I'm more impressed than I thought I would be. I figured I would get my 50 dollars worth just because of the cool kill cams, but I'm having to think a lot more than most shooters. (I'm looking at you COD). It's not completely open, but there's enough different ways to get around that it doesn't seem boring yet. I did find 2 bars of gold in the 3rd mission.

Played the demo for a few minutes last night before heading out...

It seemed like I had quite a few shots were my rifle was steady and an enemy was right in my crosshairs but the bullet didn't hit the guy. Happened over and over again and they guys were pretty close to me so they weren't out of range.

Did you remember to compensate for wind and bullet drop? or were you playing without either of those?

Ok yeah this game has a few bugs in it.

                    1. Some times you can shoot the enemy point blank range and they WON'T DIE. I'm talking 3 feet away in the head and they won't die type of BS.

                    2. Half the time the enemy will walk straight through your trip wire mine and it won't explode. I set up FOUR of them, only 2 of them will explode. The other 2, the enemy walks straight through like they went ghost mode.

It is because of this BS I have been stuck with this worthless scientist guy held up in the library for the past 3 hours now. SMH.

LOL, no clue. But thanks, didn't even know those were in the game.

Xbox 360. Pain in the butt I tell you. Way too many enemies rushing that building at once and for your stuff not to work, makes it impossible to survive.

I give it a solid 7 out of 10. Graphics look dated on the consoles. Game starts off a tad bit easy the first 2 missions. But after that the missions get harder and harder to the point you actually have to use strategy and look for good sniping spots.

Also the more missions you do, the further away check saves are. Bullet drop and wind drift is excellent. Trip wire mines are great when they work. So far it only glitched out on me on this one particular level, but every level other then that it worked like suppose to.

I would gave it a higher score if it had the following:

                              1. Better graphics. Not a graphics whore but at this stage of the console life I expect better.

                              2. The same online feature that the PC got. Console got shafted big time. All console got is co-op.

                              3. The hand guns are weak in this game. To the point if it isn't a head shot, it takes 5 to 6 shots to the chest to kill somebody.

All in all.........for a $50 game, it is a worthwhile buy. In the beginning yeah it is kind of a linear feel to it. But once you get to mission 4 and above, the world opens up way more. Going to have some very long sight lines and multiple half bombed out buildings you can walk through so you don't have to stick to the street.
