How is the A.I. people? Do they value their lives by running for cover or attempting to flank? Do they put up a fight?
EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

That riccochet off the gun was spectacular.

Hit a grenade and saw a great slowmo kill.

I just wish we could get an open world map and I could go about it in my own way, rather then being forced by a single bar road block to follow a path. Something from Hitman and Assassin Creed style.

If I see a window or a door, I should be able to go through it.

They are alright. Usually after the first shot is fired they all go running for cover and slowly but surely make their way towards your last known location and be trying to find you.

              1. I agree with the open gameplay. I get the same feeling with this as a I got with the first game and that is that this seems like a small game with great ideas.

2.I hit a grenade on my first pass and I haven't hit one since.

              3. I hope they have a player vs. player mode because I would love to hunt my brother and my brother in law (Enemy at the Gate style).

Depends on how big the map is though. If it is too big, it can lead to a very long match. Kind of like that Metal Gear Solid 3 sniper boss fight. That lasted me damn near 2 hours.

Certainly recommend playing this game on the Elite level imo. Much more enjoyable. Like others have stated I hope they open up the levels a bit to create more paths to take. A.I. is pretty good at supressing you in cover to allow their fellow soldiers to move up and gain a better position against you on elite level.

I just finished playing the demo and I came away impressed with the experience. I enjoyed the pace of the game a lot. I liked being able to take my time and think about what I wanted to do. I also like that the enemies don't bumrush you once you're spotted. They seemed to move around to different positions and coordinate a decent plan of attack. Sometimes they did do dumb things though, like crouch out in the open.

I played on Elite and didn't find the difficulty too overwhelming. I definitely died a few times, but overall it didn't seem too bad. I'm sure as you move on in the game you probably hit some tough areas though. I didn't get a chance to use any of the explosives so I'm definitely going to run through it again to see what kind of damage I can cause. I hadn't heard of this game a couple of days ago, but it's definitely on my radar now. The slow motion kills are pretty sick. I was missing a lot of shots at long range, but I'm hoping with more practice I become a bit more accurate. Not bad.

Some of my favorite memories of Battlefield 1942 was when my brother and I joined a server and it was just us. We both picked sniper kits and yes it took forever but I felt like I could be killed any moment. The long breaks between shootouts made the action seem more intense.

I really enjoyed the demo but I would like to see a melee put in the game unless I am missing it. Their are times I run out of ammo and a enemy is right in front of me and I have either take off or die.

Are you using all your guns or just the Springfield?
I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

How the hell you run out of ammo ? You have 3 guns and the sniper rifle alone have over 90 rounds. What you doing taking 30 shots per a person or something ? Not only that but you can pick up weapons off the dead bodies.
