that and Civilization 2. But I feel a marathon coming with Skyrim soon.

Had a few all nighters with Twisted Metal 2 vs mode. Sometimes just me and my friend. Hammerhead vs. Spectre. Same Rooftops level, over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over....again. Our win/loss record at the end would be something like 104-32. Yea, I lost most of those battles.

Back in 2005 I threw out my back lifting a guitar amp and spent a blissful 8 hours in a bean bag on Valium. I played through the Getaway (PS2) from start to finish. I don't think I've ever played for longer than that! My first session with GTA IV was lengthy but I rarely find a large enough gap of time to put in any more than 2 hours these days.

My longest session was around 30 hours back when Diablo II came out... and I'm sure I'm going to match that when Diablo III comes out lol.

My longest session was 12 hours on the co-op campaign of Return to Castle Wolfenstein on the original Xbox. The only reason why I did it was because the campaign had no saves (which made absolutely no sense to me). So in order to beat it, you had to go through it all in one session. While most people who remember that game will remember it for the multi-player (which was great), I will forever remember it for that one long gaming session.

Back when I was a teen, 12 hour sessions were nothing on weekends or breaks from school. At least when the weather was bad. My longest in recent memory was 9 hours straight on 11/11/11. Apparently a pretty good game came out that day.

Back in the day I use to be able to go about 8-9 hours on games, especially FF. Now, I can barely sit there for 2.

Now I play about 2 hrs a day, then im off to the gym and other things

My longest stretch would be around 18 hrs. Me and my buddy had a dual dynasty going in ncaa 04 where we each controlled a team. We each played all of our remaining games from like wk 4 through the end of the season, including recruiting.

I wouldn't say its a specific way thumbs should look but I noticed that me and my friends suffer from flat, wide thumbs. Ever since it was pointed out to me one day, I take notice of ppls thumbs. Sorry if I rubbed this bad habit off on you. You'll start taking notice. lol.

My thumbs look normal, but I've had pain or irritation from playing too long. Dad called it 'Nintendo thumb'.

I used to be able to crank out long hours, when I was a kid..

I'll put in a few hours at a time playing Battlefield, but that's about it.
