    Re: your longest gaming session?

When Star Wars Galaxies first dropped my brother in law and myself got on that Saturday around noon and we both logged off around 7am the next day... My wife came down and asked if I had ever went to bed that night... lol.
    Slightly embarrassing... but also epic!

"Not wonderment," he said when asked if he was surprising even himself with his hot hand in Virginia's 108-87 victory against Gonzaga on Wednesday night, when he scored a career-best 37 points. "I was just wondering why they didn't play more `D.

      That's sig-worthy lol.

I've read this thread twice now, but was kinda reluctant to post. I've had 12+ hour sessions more times than I can count. Back in the day, me and a few friends would always spend the night at one of our houses and play whatever was hot at the time for us. Sports games, party games, wrestling games, platformers, whatever.

Besides the times with friends (which sometimes you're sharing the controller with others), it's common for me to go 6-8 hours on my days off if I'm home alone. 2 weeks ago, I alternated between WWE 12, NBA 2k12, and Super Mario World for almost 11 hours.

My longest session was over 12 hours, I was playing WoW and trying to get a new set for war, but then I got tired and decided to just buy wow gold and enjoy the game)

I used to have sleepovers with my friends where they would bring their own PS2 or Dreamcast, and we'd have our separate TV's right next to each other to play on (often times it was in our sports franchise), and we would pull all-nighters with them that started the evening before.

Put that alongside some long GTA, RDR, and COD sessions, it's possible I've cracked the 12 hour mark several times without fail. I can see many WoW type gamers doing something like this routinely.

EDIT: Whoops, I didn't realize this was an older thread I had already contributed to fourteen years ago.

At least my answer is consistent.

I feel like the Covid Years probably shattered a lot of people's longest personal gaming sessions.
