Your Top 5 Games of the Year - 2011 Edition

1A Skyrim
1B Batman Arkham City

Skyrim is probably my game of the year, but I had to show Batman AC some love. I have not beat Skyrim yet, but it could go down as the best game that I have ever played. Just everything I could ask for in a RPG, which is my favorite genre to play. For as good as Skyrim is, Batman AC is just as good. Thats how you use a license to the fullest. They squeezed so much into that game. Just a real treat to play.

3. LA Noire

I know alot of people were let down by this game, but I loved it. I thought it told a pretty good story.

4. Bastion

Such a beautiful game. Easy to pick up and play, and told a unique story.

5. Deus Ex 3

Loved the story and the cyberpunk world that was created.


Also: Dragon Age 2 and Catherine

Plan on picking up: WWE 12 and Saints Row 3

As a strictly offline gamer i am not playing games for multiplayer, I play for a great story.

Because of Skyrim I am slowly playing through UC3, MW3 campaign, and SR3 and I am not too far in any of them so none are included. I also plan to play AC: Revelations sometime around christmas or next year. Other than that I've played through most of the big games this year.

I didn't include any sports games, but if I did FIFA 12 would be #4 on my list and the other two would slide down one.
