That was beautifully violent. And the added realism of non-regenerative health, scarce ammo and using the environment for melee just adds to the tension. And we haven't even seen those zombie like guys in gameplay.

Bought a PS3 for The Show and blu ray, safe to say this will be the first non-MLB The Show game I will buy for PS3, looks amazing.

There is a long list of great ps3 only games you should really check some of them out.

Not to drag this too far off topic but any recommendations? I haven't been gaming as much over the past few years so pretty much pick up The Show every year and the NHL series on 360, haven't really bought much other than that lately, I have had more free time of late though and actually started playing L4D and L4D2 on XBL mostly.

I've heard the Uncharted series is supposed to be great but anything else I should maybe look into?

yeah there are a few PS3 recommendation threads in this forum and the consoles forum. Mostly what you'll find recommended is Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, infamous, God of War, and Heavy Rain. Uncharted is the top of the list to me. It's by Naughty Dog like Last of Us.

Journey is the best PSN selling game of all time. It's short but it's ambient nature and spiritual experience delivers.

God of War collection, Ratchet & Clank, Heavy Rain are heavy favorites.

Metal Gear Solid 4 (if you've played the other ones)

Resistance and Killzone for FPS.

Infamous

My fav of all time and is pretty unknown since it doesn't fit into most peoples genre or art style is Valkyria Chronicles.

That's all I've got off the top.
