Might have to pre order this guy soon. EB Games is offering metal games cases for AC3.

My question is did AC2 and AC2.5 drastically improve from AC1? I really want to like this series but I just don't know if the next installments were big enough improvements to jump back in.

Once again AC3 looks great but I can't past the first one.
Should've done some research! AC2, Brotherhood, and Revelations are greatly improved!

Revelation has the best ending of the Ezio Trilogy so far IMO.

In my opinion, I agree with that, but in terms of gameplay I think Brotherhood was the best one (ACII was very, very good too. My first play through back when it first came out November 2009, I spent many hours and several weeks with the game just looking for everything, in my second playthrough last year I saw the finer details but while I did finish the game a lot faster than the first playthrough, I didn't enjoy it as much).

I felt Revelations had so much potential. The fact that the story was short even though it was set in Constantinople, which was a lot bigger and more diverse than Rome, you just really weren't immersed (and maybe that's what they intended since Ezio is basically a foreigner visiting). I'm not going to spoil too many things though, but some of the flashbacks were pretty cool.

Yeah Revelation had so much potential to be a great series ending for Ezio last adventure but the gameplay and graphic did not live up to the hype. Fortunately, to play both Ezio and Altair and to finally know what happens in their final journey made this game enjoyable to play.

The naval battles are really well done, makes me want for a good remake of Sid Meier's Pirates! (not like the mediocre 2004 remake).

Okay. That team needs to do a third-person pirate game.
