I see everyone missed the part where I was talking about both games but hey just focus on Batman anyway right? Sure. That entirely messed up the flow of the combat towards the end. Yank a gun away,great. Then the guy you were going to attack next has already run off to pick it up. Yank it away again...repeat. It was quite poor towards the end. Though yes I was getting locked into counter animations there too and hit from behind. What was I supposed to do? I know you (and most others) usually get a different game than I do somehow so there may not be an answer. (unless reviewers point it out too,then eeevvverryyyyonnneee notices it...like RE 6 but before that it was "oh there goes that silly goh again making stuff up!")

I assume they had honor back then. Regardless it would be a mess getting attacked by 5 people at once. It was a mess getting attacked by 2 at once last time. Didn't exactly have a batclaw to get rid of the guns.

Don't even get me started on reviews...again.

If you manage the crowds in the Batman games effectively then you don't have to worry about other enemies picking up the gun for at least a couple combos. There's also stuns you can do. Either way its getting off-topic and if you're not having success that's cool, but its not always the fault of the game mechanics.

I had success. I'm saying that stuff happens and breaks up otherwise fine combat. If it happens here it's not an improvement. Especially if you can't counter everything. You end up having too many mechcanics for one set of enemies and it's just not fun anymore.

Counter,bust heads = fun.
Steal weapon,bust heads = fun.
Like in the other AC games.

Throw sand at guy,counter,dodge,avoid gun,flip over guy you can't counter,dodge gun guy again,flip over uncounterable again because he turned around,counter guy behind you,throw more sand,take human shield but have to let it go because there's a guy off to the side about to attack,press counter stance button,wait for attack that doesn't happen,press it again.... = mess and you haven't busted any heads yet. Maybe one but not 6 like was possible before. Like this sounds to be from the description.
